Henry Bowers had a firm grip on some poor kid's arm, who she eventually recognized as Eddie Kaspbrak, twisting it backwards in ways that shouldn't be humanly possible. Patrick and Belch stood beside him snickering. A piercing scream came from his mouth while he squirmed to pull away from the older boy's agonizing grip. Ava cringed as she watched the event from a safe 10 yards away.

"You like this Wheezie? How much farther can I pull before we hear a snap?" Bowers smirked menacingly. His grip tightened on the Eddie's arm causing him to wail louder.

"Please, Henry! My bones can't take this kind of stress! I could die!!"

Bowers cackled viciously, "Yeah? I wonder what would happen if we just snapped your neck off." He was reaching for the younger boy's neck before Ava finally interfered.

"Hey Bowers!" She shouted marching up to the boys. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"

"Why hello there, little princess. You wanna piece of this too?" He replied gesturing towards Eddie's arm.

"You let him go or I go straight to the police." He stared at her and arched his eyebrows.

"Oh no!" He said sarcastically. "You really chose a bad day to die." He took a step towards Ava ready to pounce when she connected her fist to his face. He stumbled backwards into Belch and Patrick, who did their best to catch him but they all ended up slamming to the ground.

"C'mon!" Eddie yelled and the two kids ran far away from the bullies.

"Put that down, Ava. Those are my medications."

"Wow, Eddie. I didn't know  you were on drugs."

"What?!? No! Those are for my health!"

Ava put Eddie's pill box back on the countertop. Eddie had asked her to go back to his place after escaping from Bower's gang. "What exactly is your sickness?"

"Uh, I kind of just have.. um. I'm just really weak, ok?" he responded. " I can't play sports because I could get hurt, and I can't eat certain foods cause it could, like damage my immune system, or something..."

"So you can't live your own life?" Eddie stared at her for a moment before sighing. "I mean, would you really die from going to see a movie?"

"I-I never said anything about a movie... But I mean.. If you would like too..?"

It was a really good movie.
