She's been his friend since they were kids. They always made time to see each other. When she was bullied, he was her savior. When he was sad, she was there to cheer him up. Then a certain human showed up.
Ichirohiko X (OC)
"Urg, why is it so busy today!" Sakumi groaned. She was laying on her head on the counter, tired from all the orders that were being made. For some reason, today was super busy. "yesterday it was so calm and now its busy?" "Did you not hear yesterday?" she heard Jiromaru asked, "The Master finally announced the day of the match" he explained, "it's going to be tomorrow, finally father and Kumatetsu will face off" Sakumi blushed at the thought of yesterday. The master must have announced it while she knocked out from Ichirohiko's......action. "You should close up" Jiromaru said, "by the looks of it, it's going to be like this all day" Sakumi groaned as her ear flattened down at the loud noises, "but.." "Ichirohiko is at home right now" Jiromaru said, "He even told me that he wanted you home instead, I'm pretty sure you'll be very tired by the end of the day. It's only mid-day and you're already complaining" he laughed
Sakumi looked up in thought. She really didn't want to deal with this many people today. If she would've known about this, she would have been better prepared. She hummed in thought for a bit. "I guess I'll go ahead and close up then" she finally said, "if Ichi had told me this yesterday i would've been prepared for all these people" "Maybe onii-chan just forgot" Jiromaru said "Yeah well" Sakumi jumped over her counter, "I guess I can't be mad, I'll be off then Jiro" she said waving at him.

"Ichi!" Sakumi called out once she made it home. She made her way to his room. She opened the door without knocking and saw him laying on his bed with his arms behind his head. "Ichi, how come you didn't tell me about the Master finally deciding on-" she stopped when she saw that his eyes were closed.
He was napping. Which she felt relief for. He trains a lot and sometimes really late so he doesn't get a lot of sleep. She sat down on his bed, making sure not to make a lot of noise. She noticed that he was sleeping with his hat on and thee tassels around his mouth. Suddenly, the human thought came back to her. Is that why he hides his face a lot? Does Ichirohiko also think that he's a human? What if he was a human? So many questions. Questions that she wants to ask Iouzen, but he hasn't been around for days. Obviously training for the match. oh how she wished he was here to answer her questions.
"Sakumi?" her eyes widened and she turned to see her, probably-human, boyfriend, "why are you here?" he asked, "shouldn't you be working the stand?" "I was" she said giving him a sweet smile, "until it got super busy because everyone was getting ready for the match tomorrow" "Oh, right, sorry about that" he said, "I forgot to tell you, since I was helping you yesterday it slipped my mind" he said. Actually, his mind was on how his father was gong to beat the shit out of Kumatetsu and become the nest master because he was so much stronger than that idiot. "it's fine" she said, "you must be so tired that you're falling asleep" "Yeah, just a bit" "You need to start sleeping regularly, Ichi, otherwise you'll over work yourself" "Same to you" he said grabbing her hand, not moving from his laying position, "you wake up super early, go work the stand, and come back late most of the time" he explained "mmm, ok how about start coming home early and you start getting a good nights sleep" Sakumi said leaning over him. Her hand came up and her pointer finger hooked on to the top of his scarf tassel. He only starred at her. If there was one person he would let them touch his hat, it would be Sakumi. Only she would be allowed to touch it and move it. Sakumi started lowering the scarf and she started leaning in to kiss him, when he shot up making her almost fall off the bed. "Ichi?" she asked, "what's wrong?" He stayed quiet for a bit, "I hear Kyuta" he said. He got up and started walking out of the room. Sakumi followed him. They saw Kyuta and Jiromaru talking about if the match tomorrow.
"Jiromaru" Ichirohiko called with "smiling" face, "I think it's time that Kyuta goes home, I mean even the cicadas are chirping right now. If we keep him any longer, he be late" "Let's walk you Kyuta" Sakumi said coming up to him and grabbing his hand, "say bye Jiro" she said as she pulled Kyuta along with her. The only reason she's following Ichi and Kyu is to find out where the hell he's been.
"Kyuta" Sakumi spoke up while they walked through the halls, "where have you been all this time?" she asked, "I even went to Kumatetsu's house and the monkey said you weren't home for a few days" "When did you go?" Ichirohiko asked "Um...well..." he looked nervous and looked at Ichirohiko then back at her. Sakumi narrowed her eyes at him, "he knows you took me last time" she answered, "were you there the whole time?" she whispered ".......yeah, I was in the human world because....I met my dad" Sakumi's eyes widened, "you met your dad? So you're planning on staying in the human world?" Kyuta stayed silent for a bit. "I don't think so" he finally answered. He looked troubled, but she didn't want to ask anymore.
"Sakumi you should go back inside" Ichirohiko said, "you promised me, remember?" he asked giving her a smile, "I'll walk Kyuta to the gate" Sakumi hummed, "Ok, see ya tomorrow Kyu!" she called as she ran back inside Kyuta waved at her, not noticing Ichirohiko giving him a hard glare.
For the rest of the way, Ichirohiko didn't say anything and had his head down. Kyuta didn't want to say anything either, not feeling the tense air around Ichirohiko. When they finally made it to the gate Kyuta finally turned to him. "Well, thanks" he said, "I'll see you guys tomorrow" Ichirohiko didn't say anything, but Kyuta did feel something scratch his cheek, distracting him. While his eyes were closed Ichirohiko rushed forward and punched the human in the stomach. Kyuta fell to the ground in pain. While he was down, Icirohiko started kicking him hard. "How dare you, filling up Sakumi's head with all that human stuff. A weakling like you shouldn't fill her head with useless things. And a good match? The outcome is already decided. You and that blockhead Kumatetsu don't stand a chance and should learn your places!" he yelled, finally letting out his anger for the human boy. With all that anger out, he started walking back to his home.
"Hey" Sakumi called out when she saw him walk back in, Ichirohiko looked at her. She was sitting on the couch trying to dry her tail. "how'd it go?" she asked hoping that Ichirohiko didn't feel too awkward with Kyuta. "it was fine" he answered coming up behind her. Sakumi wasn't looking at him, since she was trying to dry her ears now. Which was not easy. Ichirohiko's bangs were hiding his eyes. All he could remember now was how Sakumi was smiling when she pulled that human out of the house. Sakumi was trying to dry her ears, carefully, when she felt Ichirohiko grab her chin and turn her head around.

Her blue eyes widened once Ichirohiko gave her a sudden kiss. As soon as he kissed her, it ended just as quick. Once his lips were off hers, he starred at her eyes for a bit, then walked off. Sakumi stayed in place, confused at his sudden action...and for what she saw. For some reason, in Ichirohiko's eyes she saw possessiveness, and a bit of sadness. She was really confused. But she didn't know whether to go ask or just stay where she was. She was starting to get really worried about Ichirohiko, since he's been very different these days.
(It was kind of hard to come up with something for the middle part, but it's finally out. Hopefully I don't take longer on the next chapter)
