3 months later

The boys were gone and I’ve been in the 11th grade for a little over a month. This was the first year I went to school by myself besides Maleena and Myia being with me. I enjoyed it because most of the people that I ever had problems had already graduated with Diggy and the boys. Speaking of Diggy, he’s been trying so hard to get back with me. Why? I don’t know. I’ve moved on from him though. To whom you may ask? Welp, you know him but can you guess? Because im not telling you J anyways, the new boy I was seeing and I were at my house chillin watching tv with DJ in his bouncer in front of us. We heard the front door unlocking so we hurried up and sat up from the position we were laying in to see it was just my mom coming home from work. It wasn’t a big deal of her seeing for the simple fact that she wouldn’t tell anyone. We wanted to be on the low. We actually didn’t really have any other choice. It was on some Romeo and Juliet type love & we rebelled like Bonnie and Clyde. We were each other’s ride or die and it would pretty much stay that way. Unfortunately, he was only there for that one night because he had to go back to school but it wouldn’t be too long until we see each other again.

Two weekends passed, and I was on my way to the University of Miami where my secret lover boy played football. I was contemplating on whether or not I would attend his game or just stay in his dorm the whole time but ended up deciding that I would definitely be at the game. I didn’t come this far to sit in a dorm room looking stupid for the whole weekend. Luckily, he had a single dorm which meant he didn’t share it with anyone else so there was plenty of room for DJ and I. at the game, I got nervous when I seen Diggy turn around and look me in my face from the football field. He played football for the opposing team, FSU. I already knew he was going to try and see me once it was over and like always, I was definitely right. He made his way up the bleachers as soon as 4th quarter was over.

“What you doing up here?”

He said as he reached for 5 month old Dj and kissed his cheeks.

“Umm. I brought DJ to see his daddy play. It was a surprise.”

I felt like shit for lying especially when Diggy bent down and planted a kiss on my lips. I could feel a pair of eyes burning the back of my head. I guess Diggy did too because his head snapped up and started looking around to see who was staring him down then his expression softened once he realized who it was.

“What’s up man? That was a good game you played. Too bad we’ll always do better.”

“Yea yea. You still aint shit you just play for a good team.”

The two of them joked around as they finished up their handshake. This was a very awkward situation. We were walking out of the bleachers and just carrying on small talk. The questions Diggy was asking had me on the verge of tears. He was going to find out about me and my new boyfriend. I could feel it in my soul.

“Ci, you gonna stay the night in my dorm room?”

“Na, shes staying with me.”

My secret lover replied. Diggy nodded his head not really catching on.

“Ok. Ill be in town for the night so I can just crash there with yall three.”

I nodded my head and so did my distant lover. Tonight was going to be the night that our secret relationship would be let out of the bag.
