Everything I Loved....

*****(Y/N)'s P.O.V.*****

The next day whispers were all around me as usual, but I paid more attention to the because they seemed to be stressing Zero out.

"I swear that's what I saw!"

"You're sure it was her?"

"Positive!"

"So, does this mean (Y/N) and Zero are a thing all of a sudden?"

"Of course not! He must've just been being nice and comforting her!"

"I heard that there headmaster adopted her, so maybe you're right."

"Zero..." I whispered nervously grabbing the sleeve cuff of his jacket and that was all it took to put the menacing scowl back on his face. The whispers came to a halt as an angry aura surrounded him and enveloped me within it. I smiled and grabbed his hand making him go slightly pink.

"Would you quit that? It's kind of embarrassing considering I never blush around people." He asked and I nodded promising to warn him from now on.

"See? They're holding hands now! I told you I wasn't delusional!" I squeezed his hand clinging to it as though it would protect me from their gossip.

"Why is it always me?" I asked him quietly knowing his vampiric hearing picked it up.

"Not for long love..." He growled lowly pulling both of us to a stop his scowl becoming more intense by the second shutting them all up. "Shut your mouths before I become angry!"

"Zero's mad! We ought to stop before he get scarier!" Anyone who was in the hall scattered as Zero's fist met the wall beside him and left a dent. (Remind you of another vampire. Diabolik Lovers?)

"Zero! The wall!" I shouted and lectured him about how "the wall never did anything to him," and "the wall didn't deserve this." He stood there smirking watching as I went off like a bomb. "Get that damn smirk off your- hmph!" I shouted but was cut off as I too was slammed against the wall being pinned there by Zero who snuggled his face into my neck.

"Please?"

"Go ahead. I'll try not to scream too loud." I replied sarcastically.

"Watch it. I'll bite you harder than I plan to." He smirked sinking his fangs in my neck and taking a bit. It was enough to hold him off until the switch over and keep me conscious and able. "Let's get to class."

"Let's." I said grabbing his hand and running off to clean the wound and get to class on time.

Class seemed to drag on, but I seemed to have enough time to take notes, not just for myself, but Zero as well as he slept class away. When the bell rang I shook him awake.

"Go away and let me sleep dammit." He growled and I giggled.

"No get up Zero. It's time for the cross over." I replied pulling him up and, noticing it was only the two of us, giving him a little kiss on the cheek which immediately perked him up.

"Tch." He grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the Moon Dorm Gates with an intensifying blush covering his face.

"It's a beautiful day Zero. Smile for me again." I smiled as he looked back to me smiling gently.

"Is Zero...smiling?" Yuki asked in shock. "How did you do it?"

Zero looked away from Yuki and to Kaname glaring at him more intensely than usual. I nudged him giving him a pointed look before being pushed to the ground by the fan girls which enraged Zero even more. His deathly glare sent them running for their dorms.

When Aido came out flirtatiously he sweat dropped realizing Zero had chase away his fans. "Again. Why did you do it this time Kiryu?"

"They pushed (Y/N) to the ground and have been gossiping about her all day. I'm extra pissed because I was woke up at the end of class, but that's not important. I swear I'm going to kill those girls if they keep it up." Zero explained looking like a little kid that didn't get their way.

"Aido, when are you going to tell those girls that they have no chance?" I asked sounding a bit worried.

"I, uh," He stumbled over his words like a little kid in trouble. "I don't know. I want to start with the night class first, but how am I supposed to tell the rest of them?"

"I could do it." I smiled and Zero snorted.

"Not without me there to make fun of whatever poor soul caught his affections." He said smirking deviously.

"It could very well be you, Kiryu, so I'd watch my mouth if I were you." Aido smirked.

"If that's the case then we're going to have some problems here, Hanabusa!" I said glaring playfully at Aido as Zero attempted to him behind my short form.

"Please I could take you."

"Want to try that with two guns to your head?" I said pulling out my guns and placing them on either side of Aido's head smirking.

"Fine. Fine. You win, (Y/N)." He said walking quickly away to catch up with the rest of the night class.

"That bloodsucking leech is something else." Zero mumbled and walked toward the stables lying beside Lily. I lied on top of him and he opened one eye to peek at me and closed it after smiling softly. I closed my eyes falling asleep some time later.

Little did I know... everything I loved...

...would once again go up in flames...
