*****(Y/N)'s P.O.V.*****

The next morning I woke in an unfamiliar room taking notice of the area. A small nightstand sat to the left of the bed I had recently sat up in. Set atop it was a glass of water and two small, white pills in a neat arrangement. The memories of my transfer to the night class slowly returned to me and I sighed picking up the glass placing the pills into the water and watching as it turned red. I downed the drink, got up and, seeing it was sunset, decided it was time for me to get ready for class.

Walking over to the closet I opened it finding a few white night class uniforms. I grabbed one of the neatly folded uniforms and headed into the bathroom. I turned on the water making sure it was the perfect temperature before stripping out of my pajamas and sat in the bath soaking up the hot water. I had never relaxed so much in my life.

There was a sudden knock at the door and I lazily asked, "Who is it?"

"Kiryu. You're late vampire." Zero's reply came softly through the door. I sighed and watched as a black disciplinary badge slid under the door. I picked it up and sat it with my uniform.

"What's this?" I asked studying the badge as I put my white skirt on followed by my black dress shirt. His reply came as I buttoned the last button of the dress shirt and started on my blazer.

"A new badge Cross ordered for you. He wanted it to go with your uniform like ours go with the Day Class uniforms. Hurry and get down there. Yuki won't be able to hold them back much longer and there's way too many guys today." Zero said then walked away. He was awfully calm even though he probably wants to shoot out my brains.

I pulled on my stockings and shoes quickly sliding the badge up my arm. I grabbed my anti vampire guns slipping them in my inside blazer pockets and my bookbag slipping that on my shoulder before taking off downstairs to see Zero who opened the door and glared at the screaming teenage boys and girls. They all screamed a different tune and ran off. I giggled at his so called 'scary' demeanor and ran off as he turned his glare toward me.

"Get back here! I have to show you around dammit!" He yelled after me and followed me quickly. I giggled and ran faster than I normally could and into the classroom hiding behind Kaname. "Shhh!" I shushed them and hid under the desk watching throw a hole in the desk as the others continued what they were doing previously.

"Has anyone seen that little shit we call (Y/N)?" Zero said coming into the room out of breath. Kaname and the other glared at him as I stifled a giggle. "No we haven't. Now leave." Aidou said bluntly causing me to kick him in the shin from my place under the desk. "Ow! That little shit! Control yourself moron!" He yelled at me as Zero gave him an odd look. "Okay then. I'm out." He backed out of the room quickly before the blonde could lose his mind more. I let my giggle rein free and soon broke into laughter.

"The look on his face was pr-priceless." I laughed and watched as Zero walked by the room again spotting me between Aidou and Kaname. "Get your ass over here, now!" Zero said and I broke into hysteric laughter again. I stood and walked to Zero as Yagari stepped into the room.

"Oh great we've got a giggler." He smirked at me as I hid behind him.

"Help me Uncle Toga! Mr. Disiplinary Committee is going to eat me!" I cried whilst giggling as Zero glared at me. "Tch. Arrogant vampire you are." Zero smirked and pulled me away as I gasped in shock. "Problem is," He looked me softly shocking me again. "I'm even more arrogant." I smiled up at the lavender eyed boy watching the scenery rolling by as he pulled me into the stables. "Nap time," Zero announced stretching himself out on the hay piles and pulled me down beside him.

"Z-Zero? What's going on? Not long ago you wanted to rip my throat out and shove up my ass," I began making him open an eye to show he was listening. "Now all of a sudden you want to be affectionate. You can't just flip personalities on me all the time. So make up your mind now before I do it for you! Do you want me or not?" I exclaimed rising in volume as I continued. Zero looked away not speaking a word. My head lowered and my bangs covered my eyes. "If this is how you're going to be, then I'm going to class. Either spit out what you're feeling or forget about me and go run to your precious Yuki." He continued on with the silence simply looking my way to watch as I stood. "Fine. Understand this though, Zero. I won't let you continue playing with my heart." And with that I turned and left toward the school building. The night was beautiful and the water in the fountain was gorgeous as it sparkled in the moonlight. Every star seemed to twinkle with more light than usual.

"I wish he would just make up his mind already." I heard a sigh and looked over to see Yuki sitting on the fountain ledge. "I know, Yuki. But he's not capable of feelings other than hate, sadness and anger." Kaname replied and kissed her forehead then walked away ruffling her hair like an older brother. Yuki blushed darkly placing her right hand over the place his kiss landed.

"Yuki..." I mumbled and she whipped out Artemis toward me. Luckily I was quick enough to dodge the weapon that was created to kill my species. "Oh. Its just you, (Y/N). Sorry. Aidou has a habit of sneaking up on me just to take a quick bite, get slapped by Kaname and then leave. I apologize if I startled you." She apologized quickly. "It's all right. I'm just walking back to the classroom. Care to join me?"

Yuki paused with shock gracing her child-like features. "You aren't trying to get Zero to let you skip class?" Her eyes widened in shock as mine darkened and filled to the be in with salty tears. "He doesn't care about me so it doesn't matter anymore," I cut her off before she could ask about my change in mood. "He never stopped me from leaving the stables so I'm sure of it."

"I'm so sorry, (Y/N)! I didn't know! That jerk! I'll show him!" Yuki began yelling about teaching Zero a lesson as he walked by. "Get over here, you jerk! How dare you make (Y/N) cry!" Yuki yelled running up to him and punching him dead in the stomach somehow having enough force to make him double over. My eyes widened as Yuki's squinted into a glare. "Now spill your guts before I do it! Tell her what you told me last night!" I looked up with tears still falling, but listening intensely as Zero glared from me, to Yuki, then to the grassy ground. "It's my place to decide when I want that public and if you dare spill a word of what I told you, I'll make you cry." Zero said walking off to the lake where I used to sit when I got upset and needed a break from life. "Where do you think you're-," I cut Yuki off. "It's fine. He's just making it more obvious he never cared. It hurts but I'll be all right. Just leave him alone. He needs some time to himself."

What Yuki didn't hear was the last seven words I mumbled under my breath smiling through the tears, "I love him though he hates me."
