I opened my eyes to see Toga glaring down at me with the barrel of his gun against my head. My hung low in my face as I kept myself calm on the outside as it had gotten longer as I slept.
"So you're finally joined them?" He spat viciously.
"I needed to be stronger. So I could protect Zero and Yuki!" I exclaimed shocking him. "I didn't want to be in the night class! I just want to protect my best friends! I don't care if he hates me as long as I can protect him!"
"You don't have to be a bloody vampire to protect them. You're only going to drive Zero away. You've become the thing he despises most."
"I know the consequences of my actions, but I don't care as long as I can protect Zero." I replied standing and walking out of the infirmary to get ready to go to class late.

"Miss Aratami, you're late. Why is that?" The extremely irritated teacher said slamming a ruler on Yuki's desk to wake her up.
"If you must know, I was visiting Zero Kiryu in the infirmary last night and fell asleep there. I overslept in the infirmary in other words. So if you have a problem with me visiting my boyfriend who could possibly die at any minute, please, tell me and I'll leave your class." I replied sitting down beside Zero's empty seat and leaving the rest of the class in shock.
