Alex's P.O.V

Monday.

Ugh. I absolutely dreaded school. It's not even for the lessons half the time, it's because of the tormentors and bullies, also known as, Rebecca and Co.

I looked in the mirror one last time, attempting to fix my appearance yet to no avail and sighed frustratedly, simply putting a beanie on to mask my messy hair. I soon heard the doorbell ring and grabbed my books, shoving them into my backpack and my guitar in its case, slinging my backpack on as well as my guitar and exiting to be met by Jacob, Brook and Matt.

We began making our way to school dreadfully,
"Would it be so bad if we bunked?" Brook asked frustratedly.
"Brook, you know we can't" I say, thinking about what our parents would say if we did.

As we approached the school, we were already receiving tormenting, disgusted looks and glares from other students. We were the outcasts that everyone avoided, yet none of us knew why. Suddenly, we stopped in our tracks, to see Rebecca and her gang dominating the front entrance. Oh wait. That's why.

We already knew the drill and turned back around quickly to use the back entrance where the garbage was thrown out. All of a sudden, I bumped into a chest and fell on the ground with a hit earning resounding and deafening laughter, I can only imagine the smug smile set on Rebecca's wicked face.

"Alex? I'm so sorry" a familiar and angelic voice spoke.
I looked up to be mesmerised by blue eyes once again. He outstretched his hand and I took it, the contact sending a tingling sensation down my spine, though I'm not sure if he felt it too.
"It's fine" I say smiling, our eyes not losing contact.

All of a sudden, Rebecca emerges beside him.
"You're cute" she says, the wicked smile plastered across her face. For some reason, I was burning at her words.
"Rebecca. Rebecca Blackwell" she says smugly.
"Daniel Seavey" he says back smiling, he looked mesmerised simply by her presence.

She then looked me up and down disgustedly then looked back and forth at me and Daniel.
"Stay away from these freaks" she says then turns back to him, "Hang with us" she said, leading him back to her group. He gave me a small almost, apologetic look and slightly waved before following Rebecca like he was in her trance.

Before I could wave back, he had left.
I turned back around to see the rest with sorry looks on their faces, though I knew they saw this coming.
"I'm sorry A" Brook said and the boys resounded comfortingly. I shook my head,
"It's fine, I don't even care" I lied, and they knew it but simply nodded.

We went through the back entrance and made our way to homeroom. It didn't help that Rebecca was in my homeroom. As soon as we sat down, spitballs were being fired rapidly at us, especially me and the teacher shot me an apologetic look.
"Alex honey, do you wanna maybe go and give these to the office please?" She asked and I nodded, standing up and collecting the stash of papers and making my way to the office.
