Way too many days left. . .

I open my eyes into slits and see that there is a tall figure leaning against the wall on the other side of the room remembering what happened last night.

''Morning sunshine.'' Jack says pushing off the wall and walking towards me."You sleep like the dead, I was contemplating a bucket of water."He says chuckling.

"Wow. Thanks, Jack." I roll my eyes but chuckle slightly.

"Well, you have half an hour before school so you might want to start getting ready." He shrugs "I'm guessing it takes some time to look as great as you usually do."

"Aww, should I call you Romeo?" I say placing my hand over my heart and tilting my head to the side.

"Only if you'll be my Juliet." He winks at me.

I start climbing out of the bed but my foot gets stuck in the sheet, I try to calmly remove my foot but have no such luck, I twist around losing my step with the other foot which was previously firm on the ground. In so much as a blink of an eye, I am lying flat on my stomach meeting the hard floor. I stand up as quickly as possible making me run forcefully into the door.

"You good?" Jack asks walking over to me and holding my body steady."I mean I know I'm gorgeous but just try not to fall too hard for me."He says smirking at me before bursting into laughter.

I shoot him a dirty glare before seeing myself out of this embarrassing situation. Way to go Alex!

...

Jack and I have just finished breakfast and we are now on our way to get my books for our first class. I can't believe that I am actually letting this guy follow me around without having punched or slapped him yet. I look around the halls to see that everyone is staring at us. I don't get what the big fuss is about this guy, I mean he's been here for a week and all the girls are probably planning their weddings with him.

The girls keep giving me dirty looks and the guys keep smirking at me, this is weird as hell.

When we arrive at my locker I open it to get my books for class and everything falls out so jack bends down and helps me pick everything up. We both reach for the last piece of paper at the same time looking into one another's eyes.

He starts standing up and so do I but do it too fast and hit my head on his nose and it starts bleeding. . . Like a lot! I hear everyone gasp and watch us with wide eyes girls giving me even dirtier looks.

"Oh my God! Are you okay!?" I shout

"Yeah, it's fine." He says

"No, it's not! There is so much blood!"

"Okay Alex calm down, where is the nurse's office?"

"Um, uh, r-right over here!" I stutter leading him to the office.

"Show's over!" Jack shouts waving a hand and everyone in the hallway clears. What? Maybe he's like a prince that I don't know about, that's my conclusion until I know anything else.

The nurse takes us both in, she manages to stop the bleeding on Jack's nose and tells us that it was just a really a hard hit and it would be okay in the next couple days. For me, however, apparently, I had gone into shock and needed to stay in the nurse's office for the rest of the day. She tells me that I should avoid the sight of blood as I have a bad reaction to seeing it. No, really!?

The next day when I am all like not in shock, I go over to Jack's room and knock on the door.

"Hey, you." He says as he opens the door.

"Hey." I think I'm blushing

"What'sup?" He asks

''You wanna go to the forest?''

''Isn't it off campus and out of bounds?'' He asks smirking at me.

''Yeah but nobody will know, we just have to jump that fence that we were sitting by the other evening.'' I shrug.

''Okay sure, lead the way princess,'' he says gesturing towards the door.

''Not a princess ''

''Okay princess'' he puts his hands in the air mock surrender. I laugh and when he starts laughing he flinches and puts a hand on his nose because it still hurts.

I climb over the fence and offer my hand to help Jack over but rejects it with a glare. He swiftly climbs over the fence and gives me a wide grin in victory walking backward not seeing a root behind him and falling flat on his ass. I replicate his grin turning on my heel and walking away.

I stop when I get to the place where I usually come to sketch and be by myself. It's an opening in the trees with a big patch of soft green moss on the ground like a carpet.

''I haven't ever shown anyone this place."

''Now I feel special,'' he says with a smirk.

"This is just because I feel bad for stuffing up your nose." I give him a pointed look. "Can I ask you a question?"

"Mhm."He hums in response.

"Why does everyone in this school seem to already know who you are?"

"My dad's one of the richest men in the world." He shrugs

"And why did everyone listen to you when you told them to leave?"

"Princess, that's more than one question." He chuckles "They know not to mess with me."

"And why me?" I murmur

"Elaborate." He says simply.

"You could have chosen any girl in the school, why me?" I bow my head.

He lifts my chin up so I am looking him in the eyes. "You're special." I send him a sad smile knowing that once he really gets to know me he won't feel the same way.

...

It's Saturday, Baby! I've been in bed the whole day so I think I need some air. I get dressed and grab my sketch pad to go and sit in the forest.

I have been drawing for a while when I hear a stick break behind me, I stop what I'm doing and look around to see who or what's there.

"Is someone there!?" I shout
