My body pushes up as I take in a huge gasp for air, my wolf finally rushing to the surface. I can feel her bubbling beneath me, begging to be finally let out and free. I couldn't really blame her, we haven't ran in wolf form in years. My eyes shut as bliss overwhelms me, the smell of my mate attacking my senses and calming the beast within me.

Spice and the smell of hot chocolate, a small smile drifting to my face before my eyes slam open. I have to leave.

I love him already, he is my mate, even if he is human. I have to protect him, from other wolves that hate me for being a rogue now, and from the hunters that are my family. I take another deep breath as eight other intoxicating smells hit me, my eyebrows furrowing slightly.

The sound of a TV sounds from downstairs, my shaking hands lifting to remove the warm blanket from me. I balk at my changed clothes and stitched wounds, gritting my teeth as I rip out my stitches. I didn't need them, and the wound would scar regardless. I walk into the adjoining bathroom, my eyes widening as I look at myself. My eyes, changed.

One eye is still the grass green it always was, while one is now a honey yellow. Does this mean I am an Alpha now? I could feel my wolf inside of me still stirring, still begging to run, but at the same time was begging for me to go downstairs.

I had to leave, to protect my mate. I will always protect my mate.

I opened the door silently, my feet stepping on the edges of the stairs so it wouldn't creak. I peeked around the corner as I got to the bottom, my eyes widening as I saw eight men laughing around a couch and TV. A redhead with bright blue eyes and bulging muscles, a blonde with long hair pulled into a bun, a brooding bad boy with dark hair and even darker eyes, an olive skinned giant with warm eyes, and my mate.

They sat next to a tan boy in a button down with curling dark hair and amber fire eyes, a curly blonde with a purple button down and a man with a charcoal suit. I watched a chestnut haired boy with two blonde pieces make a face at something the blonde haired boy said, giggling to myself as I took a deep breath.

That's when my eyes widened even more, holy shit. How was this possible?

I backed away, my eyes never leaving the mass of boys in the living room. How is it possible to have more than one mate? How is it possible that, I, Sang Sorenson, have more that one mate?

A gasp sounded behind me, as I turned around and was met with a girl with the same dark colored hair as the boy that saved me. She wore dark purple wire frames, with a light blue matching pajama set. She looked at me with wide eyes, her fingers wrapped up in her top as she stared at me.

I flashed her a soft smile before lifting up my finger and pressing it to my lips, making a soft 'shh' sound before bounding around her and opening the front door. I shut it softly, the dark haired girl being the last thing I see as I run from the house and directly to the home across the street.

I fling open the door, slamming it shut behind me as I pant and slide down the door. The home is dark and smells of cleaner, with sheets covering the furniture inside of it. Dust covers everything, but the kitchen looks spotless. I sigh and pull up the old wires telephone bolted to the wall, smiling when I hear a dial tone on the other end.

I hang it up before climbing up the wooden stairs, the sound of the creaking wood following me as I make my way into the largest bedroom. The walls were a pale pink, matching the carpet with a large bay window facing the trees. I smiled to myself before flopping onto the bed, not even bothering to take off the sheet. I finally gave into exhaustion, ignoring the cries from my wolf to go back to my nine mates.

By the time he weekend was over, I had enough clothes to last me a week, the house and all of the furniture was bought, and I was successfully enrolled into Ashley Waters high school. I kept hearing the boy from across the street walk up to my house, and knock on it obsessively. He even sent someone new, the one with long blonde hair that smelt of sweet sugar and chocolate.
