"Really!? Is that true?! That's so great!" Shauna cheered. I didn't say anything after giving the story of what Sycamore told me earlier today, I just swung on a swing in a park in route 14, surrounded by Shauna and her friends
"Huddled up like this brings back a lot of memories" Trevor smiled "only difference is that Sophia isn't Serena, though they do look identical" I sighed, hating to be compared "and Calem is missing, but that's alright because he's going be just fine in a few days!"
"That's such great news" Tierno smiled. Everyone looked at me being quiet
"What are you looking at?" I raised my brow
"Sorry, it's just kind of weird to see you so quiet" Tierno pointed out. I shook my head, knowing this was nothing compared to how I use to be "wouldn't it be great if Calem was completely healed after getting out his coma? It'll be just like a bad dream to him!" I frowned, remembering what he saw back in the hideout of that gang... how will I even know if he'll think that was a dream or not? He didn't seem like he cared, though shouldn't be so shocked that I've done something bad that's the same to him. I shouldn't compare myself to him, since he started young
I sighed, knowing I shouldn't be thinking about this at all and think more of him getting better "yeah..." I looked back at everyone "hopefully he'll just think it was all a bad dream" Shauna came to sit next to me
"What's wrong? You've sighed over a dozen times already" I have? I sighed again, looking away
"It's nothing... I'm not really in that much of a rush to keep going anyways"
"You're not?" Trevor asked. Shauna stared at me before turning to the boys
"How about you guys go on ahead? We'll catch up. If not, I'll contact you on the holocaster" the boys looked at each other and shrugged, leaving through the dark forest that looked spooky at this time in the evening "now" she turned back to me "want to talk about it? You said it yourself! We're friends" I glanced at her
"Is this what it means to be friends? to be annoying?" She nearly fell off her seat "it's nothing I want to talk about. I wouldn't even know where to start" she swung on the swing in silence
"You said you weren't in a rush to find Serena. What changed your mind about changing your pace?"
"I believe Serena is fine, so I'm not all that worried"
"What do you mean? Did you hear anything?" I refused to talk. She continued to swing on her seat "this reminds me of the time of when I asked Serena a important question. Why are you traveling? Her words to me was to bond more with her Pokémon and make the world shine bright" I smiled a little
"That sounds like her" she giggled
"And the reason why you're traveling is to find her, right?" That's the reason why I traveled, but it's not the only thing I wanted to gain "I didn't know what I wanted to do really, and everyone was working so hard at what they want to do. To be honest, I was just in it for the memories, and they were great memories! I was just fooling around at the time" she looked at me in the eye "just kidding!" I blinked "that's what I told Serena before running off, but what I really wanted to do? I did what I got to do" she covered her lips "and that's make movies!" Silence covered everything "what? You don't believe me?" She giggled again, swinging higher "me and my friends are always so busy with other things, we don't get to see each other all the time. The day we wanted to reunite and go sky training... that's when Serena went missing. It took us awhile, but we eventually got the approval of taking breaks from our jobs to begin looking for her. She was missing for a month when we started the journey, and it's exactly why we needed a week to prepare when you arrived. Sorry we made you wait, but I have to say... ever since you came to Kalos, it's been pretty crazy! You're pretty cool, you know?" I stared at her happy smile
