It seems now I'm starting to understand these lights are taking me back to pieces of my past... the memory feather with the yellow orb of light walked me along the streets, showing my year of hiding in alley ways and waited for the night to come. I was growing out my clothes and depended on the clothes B held for me that I got from home. The home I lived with my parents was quiet and lonely. Mom got her things and left the rest to dad. Not knowing he can't keep his things in the after life, I left it behind...
Not only did I have B, but I also had Z following me around me and help me through the struggle. When burying my dad, Greg told me about Porygon Z being gifted to my dad and decided now I'll be the one taking care of it. I had a fear of Pokémon since the first day I snuck out of school to see dad, but Porygon Z was different. It was artificial and perfect for me, thus, I nicknamed it Z
I grew out of all my clothes and they were all dirty. I was old enough to manage on my own and was pretty smart for my age. Z would help me hack into security systems to disarm them and turn off cameras so I could steal food, clothing, and enter a public bathhouse.
Everyone looked down at me for always being covered in dirt... I was pushed around by people, never being pitied by any of them, even if I was quite young to be homeless. I didn't want to stay home, since it reminded me too much of my family. I never bothered going into the place my dad stayed at to do overtime either, since there was probably no room for me and nobody would help. I kept to myself most of the time and tried avoiding the actual streets, keeping my time in the library and reading every single book I could. I learned and gained more knowledge, this was the time I started hating people. I stopped depending on others and did things on my own. I was never cold, and stealing was the best thing I could do to be comfortable. I wasn't proud of it, but then again... I didn't feel much of anything growing up
Z was always there for me and charged my laptop when I wanted to talk to Serena. I'd wash myself up to convince her I was well, which I never was... she'd smile and always tell me how much she misses me. She told me about her new friends and her start of her adventure. Her time in the adventure was the same time I was still in my year of being without a home... that's when... when I was sitting in the alley talking to her and hung up, I looked up to see a stranger passing by. This is when the green orb feather started appearing... My younger self looked straight to avoid attention, but found him and a boy her age standing in front of her. She gave B her laptop and hugged Z, glaring at them, shaking
The man smiling down at her and kneeled down, offering his hand. She was confused when seeing this and looked up to see the man smiling, a smile she never received since being in the streets. He wasn't giving her pity, he was just simply smiling at her
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Again, I rarely talked, so she said nothing. This was stranger danger, so the first thing she thought of, since I didn't accept help from anyone, was to find a way of escape "you don't have to be scared, see?" He pointed at the boy next to him crossing his arms, looking away all cool "this is my son, Romeo!" Romeo looked down at her, staring deep in her eyes and kneeled down to look at her. His dad stood to watch us
"What's up?" She scooted back, wanting him to get away from her "what? Do I smell?" Z pushed him away from her, making him fall back "hey! What you did that for-?" He looked into her eyes surprised, somehow I knew he felt attraction. My younger self was wanting him to back off as he blushed at my blue cautious eyes
"We're not here to hurt you, little girl..." the man said "anyone your age shouldn't be in the streets alone, especially where there are bad people who can take you. Believe me, I know" She looked up at him offering his hand "how about I take you to a better place than here?"
