"Luckily we have some of the same blood type of his in storage. Calem should be feeling better, but the stitches can't come off until the cut is healing very properly. He shouldn't be moving at all in order for the wound to heal perfectly lined" the doctor said

"When do you think he'll be able to get out?" Sycamore asked, showing up when Shauna told everyone what happened. I sat next to the window, typing on my computer while the adults talked

"It's hard to say... every wound is different, but my estimation could be from a few weeks to a few months" my eye twitched "The cut is currently large and fresh, and the fact that he was hit by a wild Pokémon, the wound was very deep. The good news though is that it barely missed where his organs and ribs was. He's lucky to have survived the attack. If this young lady wasn't there to stop the bleeding, he could had died"

"Oh my..." Sycamore frowned "what a relief" Dexio and Sina sitting next to him didn't look pleased. I glanced at them, trying not to comment on their expressions "thank you, doctor" the doctor nodded and looked at me

"If you don't mind, could you tell me what happened?"

"I already told you, I don't know" I said as calmly as possible. He sighed and walked out the room. I kept my eyes on my computer, looking up the files Z had uploaded for me when going around route 13 like I told it to. I certainly hope it got some data on what that Absol said before the power plants and at the exit of the route

"It's strange how this happened..." Sycamore said. I found only one file in my computer

"Only one?" I asked Z. It raised its arm, explaining that it's all it got. I nodded and opened the file, leaning back to read it

"It would had been less work for us if it was the other way around" Sina crossed her legs "less trouble for us to handle" I bit the inside of my cheek "It would had been less work for us if it was the other way around"

"I actually agree, I still have my suspicion on him" I closed my laptop and stood to stand in front of those defenders and slapped Dexio enough to knock him on the floor

"No one asked you two to be here" I glared at Sina almost climbing the seat in fear "both of you, get the fuck out! Or I'll make you! OUT!" The two of them ran out. I huffed, knowing even if they were Calem's patrol officers, they got nothing on me and are smart for running

"Wow!" Sycamore laughed "you really told them!" I sighed and looked at my laptop sitting between Eevee and Pichu sleeping on the opposite side of my chair "I didn't think you had it in you"

"You don't even know me, old man" I put my laptop away and sat back down, peaking over at Calem's bag sitting close to Sycamore "those two... why do they bother showing up if they're only going to talk shit?"

"You seem to be the closest to Calem, Sophia" I looked away "Shauna told me everything that's been happening. You're a miracle"

"What are you talking about?" I kept staring at the wall, hoping he'll leave soon before Calem wakes up so I can grab his bag

"Well, not many people know this, but the way Calem acts. You know, Dull, quiet, emotionless?" I leaned on my arm

"I rarely see that" he chuckled

"That's a good thing! His mother thought it was a good thing that he went out on his first journey, but she was also concern" he looked over at Calem "I met the two of them when the they first moved here to Kalos. Calem stood there when I introduced myself to him, not even looking at anything. He didn't even look like he had a reason for living" I frowned over at him "his mom told me the reason why they had to leave. Since I was the only friend she grew up with..." he sighed "the truth is... they escaped"
