ChangMIn's Past Part II

It took me a week to recover from the shock that vampires existed. The only person I could trust for that week was Keita as he came to visit everyday, explaining everything to me bit by bit.

In the vampire world there were special classes set for each vampire that was born into the world, from the highest rank to lowest rank, purebloods, aristocrats, common, ex-humans and half bloods. Keita was a pure blood, he and YunHo were the only pure bloods in the entire school. A couple of aristocrats lingered in the school, and many of the rest were common vampires. And then there was little old me, the only human.

Half bloods were people who were born with half vampire blood, probably one of the parents were human and the other, vampire. The half bloods never lived long. Their lifespan was up to the human age of 18 before they disintegrated on their 18th birthday, what a lovely birthday present from fate.

Ex-humans, now this could take long to explain.

Keita’s father placed a curse in this school, since he hated the Jung family with a passion. A curse that could cause humans to turn into vampires. This process could only happen between a vampire boy and human boy, when the two fall in love and shares a kiss within the school campus, the human will turn into a vampire.

There were also other dastardly conditions.

When a vampire boy shared a kiss with a human girl, the vampire boy would turn into a human. Not that it would be likely to happen, the campus was off limits to any girl.

When a half blood shares a kiss with a vampire, the half blood would turn into a full vampire, therefore escaping from death at the age of 18. When a half blood shares a kiss with a human, the half blood would turn into a human.

These things could only happen when the two fall deeply in love with each other.

All these rules only applied exclusively to this very school. If the kisses were shared outside of the school, even if you were a centimeter away, it would be ineffective. The status of being either human or vampire wouldn’t change.

Luckily, that kiss that I shared with Keita didn’t happen within school boundaries, or I would’ve become Yaoi High’s first ex-human.

Me and Keita were now in a relationship, a very slow one at that too.

On the day YunHo returned, after I told him that I knew he was a vampire, he was indeed shocked.

“H-How did you know?” he said as leaned back onto a table.

It was weird how YunHo got himself a tan, making him look a little darker, a little more peacher, but still had the pale side to him.

“Keita-”

“I told him.” Keita butted in as he took my hand into his, “And more importantly, he’s mine.”

YunHo stared at mines and Keita’s intertwined hands as I blushed slightly at Keita’s abrupt move, I knew Keita wanted YunHo jealous, and it was seriously working.

“Since when?” he said as his eyes pierced through mines.

“During your absence.” I said as I tore my eyes off his, looking down to the floor, too scared to even look at him.

“You like him too don’t you?” Keita mused on with a big grin, looking a bit too overly exaggerated.

“Listen here.” YunHo said roughly as he leaned towards Keita’s neck, grabbing it with his large hands, causing Keita’s hand to let go of mines. Keita was now pinned up to the wall, choking slightly as I watched in horror, “You leave ChangMin alone you bastard. How dare you make a move on him during my absence?!”
