Vampires exist…

They really exist…

Yup, that’s what I could only think of as I walked through the forest, not bothering about the rip down my top and the undone zip to my pants…and…a slightly wet area down there. I was too traumatised from the fact that vampires exist.

I already tried to convince myself that this was a nightmare, or a joke. But, what happened tonight was all too real to think of it as a mere nightmare. I mean seriously, since when do you have nightmares where you continuously wish that you woken up at many points yet never, and feel never ending pain on your wounded arm and experience everything as if you’re there? You can even smell, hear, touch and feel. Now, if that wasn’t reality, I don’t know what is.

But, that’s just baloney, vampires can’t exist, they were created out of a bored idiot’s mind, which then became popular and caught on… Maybe I’m part of this imagination…Argh, my head hurts.

“Jae! Jae are you alright?” I heard my father shout as he ran up to me from a distance.

He began to decrease his speed once he took a second glance at my attire and state, his eventually fell upon the wet spot, how embarrassing.

“J-Jae…what happened?”

Please don’t tell that he’s thinking that I went off to go find something to .

“It’s…a long complicated story.” I said as I tried to zip up my pants, but the zip wouldn’t budge, “And please, stop staring at me down there.”

He shook his head away, blinking several times before he focused on my face finally with a straight face.

“So, are you alright?” he asked once again, walking towards me with a hand outstretched.

“I-I guess.”

I don’t think it’s my place to tell him that vampires exist, it seems that it is to be kept a secret until the human finds out himself. Normally, I would spill out such top secret information to the whole world in one day, but this time, I think I better not. I bet that if I did so the vampires would be after me, and YunHo wouldn’t be there to stop them for he would be part of them. Just then, I remembered on what I’d heard from the caves just when the bats came flying out.

“Are you and the others alright? Is anyone hurt?” I asked.

What is happening to me? Why would I care about other people? I never really directed this question to anyone before, apart from Hero maybe.

“No, we’re all fine, weirdly. The bats just flew above us in an instant without harming us, all they did was frighten us a bit.” he then choked out a small laugh, “Luckily no one has any heart problems here.”

Damn, I kind of hoped that the old man with the grizzly beard got hurt in some way.

“Jae, let’s go back home now, I think I’ve had enough of today’s adventures.” he said as he pulled on my hand.
