His father beat me up…just kidding. Actually, we did the dirty right in front of the public ….haha, you wish!

Okay, I’ll give you the right answer now. Right after that kiss, he let me down to pick up his violin again, handing me the rose back as well, before he stepped on the stage again and walk off behind the curtains, to the backstage. He left me stunned and unprotected against the fiery eyes of his father and the wondering public.

Everyone remained in silence as they all sat back down in their seats again. I was blushing beetroot red. The host announced the end of the night’s show and bud the audience goodnight and sweet dreams.

Oh, what am I to do now? I came all the way over to Seoul with Henry, now I have to leave this place without Henry. Did he forget to tell me where to meet him so he can guide me back? Or did he plan this… I followed the queue of people in front of me to exit, out of the auditorium, with Katie skipping behind me, totally unaffected by tonights happenings.

Soon I was out in the lobby again, surrounded by muttering people that kept giving me strange looks, with silents whispers filled the auditorium air. I felt so isolated among these beautifully dressed humans, I felt like a lost child looking for his mother.

Henry where are you?

The hushed whispers seemed to increase with each passing second, loud enough for me to hear their passing comments, as I walked like a lost sheep among the crowds.

“A guy like him got kissed by Henry Lau? How? That’s impossible.” One girl, with layers and layers of makeup covering her face, spoke with a pungent tone.

“Ew, he’s gay with Henry? Eurgh, I’ve lost all respect for Henry Lau now.” A man commented with a snort as I walked past.

Don’t lose respect on Henry, please don’t…don’t hate him because of me… I could feel hot tears began to well in my eyes, making my vision was blurred.

“Get away from him! He’s ill, just look at him, he’s pale!” a mother hissed as she pulled her daughter back away from me. My hands began to clench into fists as my teeth began to grind in anger.

“Pathetic half-blood.” I spun around to see Henry’s father shooting me a dirty glare as he clicked his tongue at me, his mother and sister didn’t look too impressed either.

Of all the people in the lobby area, there was only one who had not uttered a single word of spite to me, and that was Katie. Why of all the people, she should be the one supporting me? She just stood there next to the Lau’s, smiling warmly at me.

Then, things escalated quickly, the throng of people started moving, headed to the exit. I was like a helpless fish fighting against a strong current, as the throng of people started to rush and squeeze to move forward. I could feel my arms going numb from all the shoving and pushing, I began to stumble as I was forced to move by the crowed, it felt like I was crowd surfing, only I did not like this experience.

So this was what Seoul people were like to us vampires, no wonder we were secluded on Jeju Island, no wonder not many vampires are seen in city’s like these, they were the worst places to be, ever.
