Daryn and Jordan in the MM:
Daryn:
Jordan: I got a letter in the mail babe from Syracuse I wanna open it with you. 12:35pm
Me: Okay.. just come over? Or you want me to come to you? 12:42pm
Jordan: On my way.. 12:45pm
I read over the last text and climbed out of bed to get dressed for my boyfriend to arrive.
When I finished I walked to the kitchen where my mother was scrolling on her iPad.
"Mom Jordan is on his way." I said.
"Okay. I'm about to leave for lunch with the girls."
"Where's dad?"
"It's Saturday so I believe he's probably playing golf or at the barber shop."
"Oh okay."
"I'm going to get going now, you know how my friends act even if I'm a minute late."
I nodded and reached into the fridge for a apple juice bottle. "I'll see you later."
She kissed my cheek, grabbed her purse then left.
"Daryn?" I heard him call me.
"How'd you get in here?" I smiled getting up from the kitchen bar.
"When your mom was leaving I was pulling up and she let me in."
I nodded and hugged him.
"So what letter are you talking about?"
"It's from Syracuse...I wanted to open it with you ya'know in case its a rejection." He said with his head down.
"Baby I'm sure you got in but okay open it."
"Can you do it?"
I sighed and playfully rolled my eyes.
I tore open the envelope with my freshly done nails and started to read the fine print.
"Babe...You got in!"
"No way?"
"Yeah it says right here... Mr. Jordan Haas we are proud to announce that you have been accepted to Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York... blah blah blah." I smiled looking at him.
He sat down with his head in his hands.
"What's wrong?" I asked sitting next to him on the couch.
"What's gonna happen with us?"
"I don't know." I sighed.
