Chapter 6, Part 1: Gifts For The Young

((Six's P.O.V))

       Finally everything is finished! All that's left is to give the gifts to the kids...  Which means I have to see Seven.  I felt my face get red as I thought that, what if he finds out that I'm the new lady? What would he think? Will he still look at me,  the same?  Thoughts rushed my head as I heard two knocks,  I opened the door to reveal two ladies,  one wearing a green and white kimono,  she was the tailor,  and the other one was wearing a purple and blue dress, she was her daughter who helps her make the dresses.  "Miss Geisha,  your orders are done!" The tailor said,  while handing me a bunch of wrapped packages holding each clothing with each name. "We also got an order from a lady who said she wanted us to give to you and your sister!" The girl who was around my age said,  while handing me two more packages wrapped in yellow and black bow with yellow and black wrapping.  "The one in a yellow bow is yours,  and the one in a black bow is your sister's" The tailor told me, "The Lady who ordered those,  she wanted to be called Shadow,  I believe" She added on. "Shadow?  Did Ebota ordered these and just used a nickname?  But they say lady so it was a grown up,  so it couldn't be her, but no one else instead of the staff knows about me and Ebota...  How could have sent these..?" I thought to myself,  as I signed and pay the ladies for the help.  They soon left and as they did,  Ebota appeared in my room. 
       "You got the packages?" She asked,  looking at me.  "Yup,  even you and me got packages!" I answered her with a smile on my face. "Cool,  from who?" She asked again,  "From a woman named Shadow" I answered her again.  Ebota stood there with a shock and surprised look on her face,  does she know that woman? "Yes I know her...  She's my actual mother" She said,  I stood in shock, first of all not realizing that I said that aloud,  second I always thought that my mother was Ebota actually mother...  "Can I see them?" She asked,  "You can see yours" I told her,  handing her,  her package. She teared up the wrapping, inside was black dress with a letter sitting on top of it. "What does it say?" I asked as she scammed through the letter, a smile soon appeared on her face. "She just says she would like to see me and you again" she answered with the brightest smile I seen from her before.

(Ebota's P.O.V)

              It's been years since I have seen my actual mother, mostly I have to keep an eye on Six and make sure she is not dying, and make sure that the maw runs smoothly! So This Is Great..! I missed my mom, unlike my aunt and Six, me and my mom have a good relationship! I would have seen her when Six was born, but my aunt asked me to take care of her because Roger was just starting to get the hang of taking care of the kids, and it's impossible to travel with human through the shadows! She lives in a town near the one Six's father took her to..! I was so overwhelmed with joy, I almost forgot about the dress! I looked back at the package, and took out the dress, it was a long black kimono with faded yellow tips and white flower printed, it has a yellow stash as longer than the dress. "It's pretty" I thought to myself as I disappeared out of Six's room and into my room to try it on... Once I finished putting on, I looked in broken mirror... "It's very pretty, I wonder what fabric charms she used" I thought to myself, I left my room and appeared back in Six's, I noticed that she opened her packages and put on the dress my mother sent, it was a yellow dress with a black collar with a purple jewel, and a black corset tied together with white laces. "A bit mature for a 9 year old, isn't it mom?" I thought to myself, then again my mom doesn't know what's appropriate for kids

*Flashback Time =D*

         I was around 5 years old and I was living with my mom in town by the shore, I didn't really understand why at the time, but my mom would go to the shore and wait until she got a bottle floating, or a strange man would stop by and chat with her. It was nearing my birthday, but my mom gave me an early birthday present, but it was when that strange man visited... I didn't think much about it, and opened the box, and inside was a bunch of make-up like eye-shadow, eyeliner,  foundation, concealer, highlighter, blush, lip gloss, the list goes longer. I looked up at my mom and gave her a hug, since I was young shadow child back then, she let go and spoke with her voice "Your welcome, my little dark... but Dark, you a-......"

*End of flashback*

        I was snapped back to reality by Six tugging on my dress. "Ebota, come on, let's go give the capture kids their packages!" she said, excited as the day she came back from the outside world, most probably because she wants to see Seven, I smiled as we started grabbing the packages, putting them in the cart, and Six grabbing her mask. We pulled the cart down the stairs, and all the way to the nursery, once we opened the door and the kids looked at us...

(Six's P.O.V)

         I really need to get use to people staring at me when I enter a room... "Ummm... Hi, ummmmmm...." I tried to say, I haven't really prepared for this, or I'm getting distracted by Seven~........... WAIT WHAT! "oh for the shadow's sake, let me handed this.... My "sister" wanted to do something for all you, and she noticed that all of your clothing appears old and ripped apart, so she decided to make you, guys new clothing along with the help of a tailor, this is not a part to becoming the new lady of the maw, so be grateful on my sister's decisions as you'll see her make small changes on how the maw runs, now when we call your name come forward to receive your gift" Ebota said, speaking in matter that my mom used to speak in, it was enough to send shivers down my spine...

{((Seven's P.O.V))}

         "Seven Carter?" I heard Ebota call my name, some of the kids are saying that Six is doing this as a way to ask forgiveness for her mother,  but I don't believe that Six,  she can be sweet when you don't make her mad, not to mention she didn't seem so fond of her mother, so there would be no point on her trying to redeem her mother, but anyways I walked over and got my gift from Six, when I noticed her yellow dress, blushed face, and white mask, she looked so pretty, and kinda of...... NO! No, you don't think like that, but it's true... We kept staring at each other until Ebota... wait, why does it sound like a deadly disease? Well anyways she snapped us back into reality, and whispered to us "Both of you, guys can love each other later." "Alright... Eve...." I told her coming with a nickname at the same time,  I walked away while they just stare at each other and called the other kids name's up.  I opened up my gift on top of my bed,  inside sat a set of clothing similar to mine expect they had a dark shade of blue,  they also came with a pair of socks,  and some chain breakers... I took off the chain from my leg with the chain breakers, and changed into my new clothes and socks,  they felt pretty comfy,  I feel adored in these clothing and the feeling of protection like when my mom would wrap me in a hug when I got scared....  How am I feeling this?
