In this world, three worlds exist at the same time, just on different times, to get from each place it's not easy unless you follow the path. Though they're those that don't want to follow the pathetic , 'We have something to live for!' They cry out while they're forced to continue on the path, only a few have manage to wander off the path and go back to their world. Each world is considered a realm, one is considered the realm of the living, where those whose souls haven't left their body stay and enjoy their time or not until they reach the border realm, when the souls leave their bodies, they enter this realm, and can either follow the path or rarely return the realm of the living, or simply for new souls to visit the realm of the living, lastly the realm of the dead, where the souls end up, reunited with lost ones and reviewing their life and enjoying their time here... Along the living realm and the dead realm doesn't have anything watching over them, the border realm does, a beautiful lady with her face covered by an emotionless face decides everyone's fate, do you return or do you keep walking?
*One day, a boy with brown hair and blue eyes enters this realm, his clothes are very badly ripped even though he has no wounds, he stands somewhere in a wooden area near the path, but no one notices him, they just walk along the path, he watches as a girl wearing a simple yellow kimono with a yellow hood, her shoulder length black hair can be seen but her eyes are hidden by a white fox mask with purple decorations, she's holding a paper lantern with a stick*
"Excuse me, can you give me your name and please stay on the path" she quietly says. The boy looks at her, a bit surprised at her presence. "Seven.. Seven Neelamber.. Where am I?" He asks as he gives the girl his name, the girl just looks in pure shock and sorrow. "this is the border realm, where souls move on to the dead realm.."
After hearing that, understandably the boy freaked out, saying "I'm not suppose to die, I'm only 15! What will my family do", he broke down and explain his situation to the girl and asking how he died, he died because a girl who wanted to marry him but he didn't want her, no matter how much his parents said how good it could be, murdered him. "There, there now" the girl said quietly and looking around before turning back to the boy, "I know how escape here and return to the living realm, normally the watcher would judge you and see if you are suppose to return or not, but knowing her, she would never allow it so let me help instead.." she said quietly in his ear. "You would do that, but what if we're caught, what will she do to you?" The boy said with concern in his voice, "It doesn't matter, she can't do much....." she said, quietly mumbling the last part so the boy wouldn't here.
*to not seem suspicious, the boy quietly walked along the path, while the girl followed by his side off the track, they didn't speak, they just walked, it seems like the girl just monitor the ones passing by and just happen to be next the boy, they continue until they stopped by a large building with a lot of windows and no way of seeing the top of the building just by the ground, everyone walked inside the building including the boy and girl. Inside there was two monsters helping the spirits into rooms almost like a hotel, one monster was short man with unusually large arms that seems twice his size wearing a short grayish skin colored coat and has mouth mask that cover his eyes instead of his nose and mouth while the other one was tall man, that seemed like the result of lighting a candle with waxed face and unlike the other one you can't see his nose or mouth, just his mouth, he also seemed to have a bellhop uniform. The girl dragging the boy by his arm to the short man*
"Tell him your name.." she said with a quiet voice, "Seven Neelamber". The short man handed the boy a keycard with his name and a number 3912, with that in his hand, the girl dragged him to an elevator and pressed the button. "Where are we going?" He asked, looking at the girl, "To your room" she simply responded.
