~Squip's POV~
I stood in front of the bed, looking down at her.
She was still curled up, whimpering.
Her (hair length and color) hair covers over her face.
I crouched down, tapping her shoulder.
She jumped up, eyes wide. Once she saw me, she blurted out, "You look like (JD/A lawyer/cool)."
I smirked slightly, standing up.
"This is just my default. If you would like something else, I have a couple others."
"No no, this is good! I'm fine with this. Wait, can you play music? Can you be a speaker?"
I roll my eyes. "You haven't stated my key directive yet."
"Key....directive?"
"What I am supposed to help you with. Popularity, life, grades, relationships, so and so."
She stopped, thinking. 'Wait, so THAT'S what the site meant. Well, I need a friend, so...'
"Companion Mode Activated." I hummed, something whirring inside me. It has been a very long time since I have used this mode.
"But I didn't say anything-"
"I'm in your brain. I can read your thoughts."
"Oh. Well, now that you have companion mode, what can you do?"
I sigh, pulling up a list to check.
"Companion Mode: be supportive, help them, care for them, goof off, be a good friend, don't hurt them....."
Reading through the list silently, I raise my eyebrows.
I see why other Squips would think Companion Mode is boring.
"That's really cool with the screen- how do you do it?"
I sigh, burying my anger.
No matter if this is a curious teen, they had bought the pull ad took it.
So I knew I should be grateful.
I was, but I also felt something else.
Very, very small, but it was there.
Love.
{{mmmm here.
Bye my Squips and Bye Y'all!~}}
