~Y'alls POV~
Oh shit.
Oh, shit.
I saw when Jeremy recognized Squip, and knew things would get worse.
"Hey Mom, how long until dinner is done?"
She looked over at me. "About 15 minutes. Why do you ask?"
I raise an eyebrow. "Is that with or without Dad's time added in?"
Mom sighed. "Without."
"So, an hour or so?" My dad always takes forever to get home, and he usually is bringing something he bought.
"Yep."
"Then could I show Jeremy the park around the corner?"
"As long as you guys get back by 8:00, and if Mr. Heere allows him."
This whole time, Squip and Jeremy have been staring each other down.
'Need to get out of here quickly...'
I look expectantly at Mr. Heere.
"....Alright, just don't do anything you shouldn't."
I cheered silently while thanking both parents, before grabbing Jeremy's arm and dragging him out.
~small time skip~
Jeremy pulled away from me once we were in the park.
"Why?! Why get this....thing!?" He yelled, pointing at Squip, who had his arms crossed.
"How can you see him- oh I'm stupid." I answered my own question.
I mean, a chip doesn't just disappear out of your head.
"You need some Mountain Dew Red, now. I think Micheal still has some-"
"What's Mountain Dew Red do?" I interrupt him, looking at Squip.
Squip cleared his throat before talking. "Mountain Dew Red de-activates me, in the most painful way possible."
"You deserve it! You almost took over my entire school!" Jeremy shouted
"That was different-" Squip tried to say.
"No! There is no difference! You wrecked my life up, I look at Mountain Dew and have PANIC ATTACKS! I DONT EVEN TOUCH ANY SODA ANYMORE! I- I HURT MYSELF. PINCHING, HITTING, AND DAMN WELL CLOSE TO CUTTING BECAUSE I THINK IM NOTHING- BECAUSE OF YOU!" Jeremy overpowered him, his face going a deep red.
Squip took a couple steps back, a look of fear and shame on his face.
I step forward. "What the fuck?! Someone expla-"
Suddenly, Jeremy ran over to Squip, and punched him square in the jaw.
Squip yelled out, then tackled Jeremy, hitting him in the stomach.
'SHITSHITSHITSHIT-'
I took steps away, watching in horror as they fought.
Then a sudden calm fell over me. I walk forward, grab the collar of Jeremy's shirt and yanked.
Jeremy was flung back, landing on his ass a couple feet away.
He stared, wide-eyed.
I reach down and pick up Squip, as if he weighed as much as a kitten.
Squip stared at me in amazement.
I then let go and took a couple steps back, the calm still within me.
"Stop fighting, or I will personally beat the shit out of both of you. This can be discussed rationally, and nicely. Also, I'm going to have to think of a reason to explain for the bruises on Jeremy. Thanks a lot, guys."
Each word was said calmly, yet I knew I was growling, and there was murder on my eyes.
I turned to Jeremy. "I got Squip to have a friend, because, I have none. I didn't know anything that had happened, but knew that Squip had a user before me."
I spun around to Squip. "I thought you was a computer that didn't feel emotions, much less engage in a fight."
I sat down on a bench, and patted both empty seats beside me. I could feel the calm fading, and exhaustion flooding in.
"Take a seat. Be happy I showed you mercy."
{{damn. Longest chapter I've ever typed. Especially since it has more talking than background or movement.
Confused how you suddenly lifted them both up? It's called pure rage and pure fear giving you extra adrenaline.
Bye my Squips and Bye Y'all!~}}
