This theory could give away some major plot points. So if you've never seen Adventure Time, you might want to skip this one.

This chapter will contain several Adventure Time theories.

Theory #4: The Mushroom War

This one has been confirmed, so it isn't technically a theory. Don't judge me. And it's not mine, it's like the actual prologue of Adventure Time.

There was a gigantic war, The Mushroom War, and it wiped out mankind and mutated anything that lived with its radiation.

That's why Jake has his radioactive "powers". The candy kingdom was created when ordinary candy came in contact with radioactivity, creating life. They formed a civilization, as did all of the other creatures on Earth.

Theory #5: Marceline and Bubblegum

This one's not mine either. In some episodes, PB is a deep pink, and in some she's almost white. Maybe, Marceline (the red-eating vampire) has been draining Bubblegum of her pink color. In the episode "What was Missing", Marceline even says "I want to drink the red from your pretty pink face." The theory also hints at a possible relationship between the two. Theory #6: Cinnamon Bun

Still not mine. Everyone loves Cinnamon Bun, the adorable and not-too-bright citizen of the Candy Kingdom. But maybe we've been laughing at some serious head trauma. In the first episode, when he tries to do a backflip, he hits his head. Hard. In fact, he cracks the wall behind him. In all of the episodes that follow he isn't the sharpest candy cane in the box.
