song;
breathe – lee hi

| irina's point of view

The past few weeks has been like a blur, a whirlwind of events that just swept me off my feet. Ever since I accepted Taehyung's proposal, everything just moved so fast like days were being played like a movie in fast forward. I didn't even have time be alone since that night. I wanted to hit pause so bad just to step back and look at where I am.

I wanted to spend time alone but I was always with someone; Taehyung, my co-workers when I'm at work, on some days I would be with my friends from the strip club and some days, it was Mara. We've gotten closer since Taehyung asked her to help us plan for our wedding. She was very helpful in fact and I always enjoy having her around. She's younger than me too but I did not feel any gap between us. I felt relaxed around her. When we're together, she's not a mom and I'm not the woman who used to strip, we're just girls who like shopping.

Taehyung is really happy when I tell him about Mara and how I'm fond of her and the kids. We talked about our own parties. He and Jimin are planning to have a gentlemen's night while he suggested that we do the same.

"So what do you think?" He leaned his elbow over his desk, eyes bright and suggestive, "A ladies night would be perfect for you. You can invite Madam Sofia and the girls you used to work with."

"Yeah. That sounds like a nice idea." I said and he smiled, playing my hands softly. "Although I'm not so sure about gentlemen's night? It sounds a bit.. frisky to me."

Taehyung's eyes widened at my comment and then he overreacted, "Frisky- How? I don't even think of that. Why is it when guys want to have a night for themselves girls always think about men with women on their laps?"

"Because that's what it sounds like." I rationalized, crossing my legs. His secretary came inside just at the right time and then just to prove my point, I asked her, "Hey Cherie, what comes to mind when you hear the word gentlemen's night?"

She glanced at Taehyung, smiling to herself before turning back to me. "Tassels, sequined curtains, one dollar bills."

"Thank you, dear." I gave her a warm smile and allowed her to exit the room before I put on my victorious smile to which Taehyung replied with a groan. "See? Point proven."

"I'm not getting strippers on my bachelor party." He leaned back, still keeping my face in his sight. Why is he looking at me like that?

Then he laughed as if he still can't believe I have doubted his loyalty. "How can you possibly think I'd still want another woman on my dick?"

"Taehyung!" My eyes grew large in shock as I cup my hand over his mouth. "Lower your voice down."

"What? You're ashamed about my dic-" I smacked his lips lightly and he flinched backwards a little. "Did you just hit me?"

I retrieved my hand and placed them both on my lap before we both bursted into fits of laughter. "You wouldn't stop saying it. Somebody had to stop you."

"That's why I need to marry you as soon as possible." Taehyung stood and positioned himself behind the chair I was sitting at. He wrapped his arms cozily around my shoulders and hugged me tightly. "I want to tie you beside me and take you with me everywhere I go."

"That's not why people get married, Tae." I chuckled, my movements restricted by his arms.

He leaned his face closer to my face, the tip of his nose poking my bone as he leveled his mouth to my ear, "Why do people get married then?"
