Women, according to countless studies, are twice as prone to anxiety as men. I 100% believe that because once I got off of him, I felt like butterflies were doing the hunger games in my stomach.

"Hey, are you ok?" the gorgeous human being said.

"Yea, my dog Raider was just being a BAD BOY," I say as I look at him angrily and he hid in between my legs.

"Aw, he was just being a dog, it's not his fault," he says petting his shaggy yellow back.

"I'm Mason, by the way," he said stretching out his for me to shake it

I shake his hand with a smirk.

"April,"

"Are you new in the neighborhood?"

"Yeah, I live down the street, at the end of the corner." pointing at my house

"Cool, I live two houses from you."

"Cool," I say shuffling my feet

"What school are you going to go to in the fall?"

"Golden High."

"Me too!" he said really excitedly

"Really? Well, I'm glad that I know someone here."

After that, we talked for like 30 minutes.

"Yeah... do you have TextCloud?"

"Yeah?" I said with a grin

"Can I have your username?"

"Sure. It's april16893." I said as he was typing it in his phone.

"Cool, see you later, April"

"Bye!!" I say as I head back to the house with Raider.

I walked in the house, shut the door, and leaned against the wall with the biggest smile on my face.

"Why are you so happy, grouchy pants?" Josh says walking past me

And then the moment ends.
