Without further adieu, I encourage you read on.

I had a god awful headache, but I was fast asleep. I was beyond confused and even more so because I couldn’t think properly. My brain felt like it was tearing itself apart.
All the air got sucked out my lungs and I felt my back arch. My head was screaming in agony and I felt like I was burning alive from every cell all at once. The hot pain was gone suddenly and I felt cold. Orange light basked over my eyelids and I slowly opened my eyes. The pounding in my head ceased as soon as my eyes opened. I blinked twice and sat up quickly.
I was on a platform facing an orangey stone wall. I felt slight panic creeping up on me and looked around. Directly behind me was the edge of the rock floor and it seemed to fall out into space; I was facing what appeared to be a sun. In between me and the star was a man. He was what appeared to be on pause; I took one look at his face and saw he was building up to say something. He was gathering his wits and this terrified me.
Everything slowly started to move again and I rose to my feet. I was totally out of place. My gut was screaming that this was wrong, I shouldn’t be seeing this – whatever it was – and my heart was screaming this man was someone I knew and loved with all my heart, but I had no idea why I did.
I walked to where he was standing as all sound and the full color rushed back into the scene; the tragedy and beauty hit me like a wave. I felt like I knew what was going to happen for some reason. The brunt force of what I was experiencing made me stumble back from him a step and made me what to sit down. I couldn’t comprehend what I was seeing.
“Okay then. That's what I'll do. I'll tell you a story. Can you hear them? All these people who lived in terror of you and your judgment. All these people whose ancestors devoted themselves, sacrificed themselves to you. Can you hear them singing? Oh you like to think you're a god. But you're not a god. You're just a parasite. Eat now with jealousy and envy and longing for the lives of others. You feed on them. On the memory of love and loss and birth and death and joy and sorrow, so... so come on then. Take mine. Take my memories. But I hope you're got a big a big appetite.
“Because I've lived a long life. And I've seen a few things. I walked away from the last great Time War. I marked the passing of the Time Lords. I saw the birth of the universe and watched as time ran out, moment by moment, until nothing remained. No time, no space. Just me! I walked in universes where the laws of physics were devised by the mind of a madman! And I watched universes freeze and creation burn! I have seen things you wouldn't believe! I have lost things you will never understand! And I know things, secrets that must never be told, knowledge that must never be spoken! Knowledge that will make parasite gods blaze! So come on then! Take it! Take it all, baby! Have it! You have it all!” By then end of his speech he was crying and the light from this terrible sun was causing my tears to become warm tracks on my cheeks.
Emotion overwhelmed me as I watched the evil thing grab hold of this man. I heard a chorus of voices in the background; I heard the sun burning away everything this man had sacrificed. I lost my will to stand and let myself fall to the ground like my tears.
My entire body began to burn again and my vision blurred around the edges and I fell sideways. My cries of agony were trapped in my throat and I couldn’t move. The man before me fell to his knees as his memory burned. The tears in my eyes made it even harder to see him and I struggled to gain enough air to call out for him; too make sure this man was alright because if he wasn’t then I feel as if I couldn’t exist.
“Doctor!” I screamed with all the air I had left and then my vision went black.
I shot up in my bed and felt broken sobs rack through my chest. My heart was pounding away in pain and with the adrenaline running through my veins. I clutched at my chest and hugged myself around the ribs to stop the pain from my sobs from pulling apart my diaphragm. Tears were pouring endlessly down my cheeks and I couldn’t seem to get myself to stop crying.
I threw back my duvet and set my feet gingerly on my cold floor. I fell on shaky knees and because I was emotionally wrecked – absolutely smashed. I got back to my feet and wandered to my desk.
I pulled my hands out of my shirt that was several sizes too big for me and desperately sorted through papers from the investigation and found my notebook flipping it open to the next blank page. I held the book open with one hand and searched out a pen. When I found one, I wiped my endless tears and scribbled two words in thick script across the two pages.
Having no more energy I slowly backed away from my notebook until the bare backs of my knees hit the bed and I sat down. I curled my body up on the mattress and hugged my knees to my chest to keep myself together. What the bloody hell was wrong with me?
My sobs died down even when I still felt the tear tracks on my cheeks; I ignored it and focused on trying to reach blissful unconsciousness, but how could I when all I could think was the two words I had scribbled onto my paper? My lost thought before exhaustion took over was the two words that would haunt me.
DOCTOR WHO?
