Waking up next to him just makes me smile every time. He looked so tired like he worked fourteen hours nonstop with his mouth open and light snoring. Hell you would think we had sex, but after his little joke we just watched 30 minutes or less until we fell asleep. Usually he'll wait till I'm sleep to fall asleep but I felt light breathing on my shoulder and saw that his eyes were closed. I knew Koko wore him out but dang, and that reminds me I need to call my baby. I reached over and grabbed my phone looking at Kenny's number now regretting not giving Koko her own phone . He answers on the third ring and I can hear a lot of commotion in the back.
"I'm sorry Kenny if I'm interrupting." I said walking out so I won't wake Chris.
"Naw that's just Nami she's playing with my drum set, what's up?" Kenny asked and it was like my breath was taken from me. He sounded so happy, so at peace it's been such a long time since I've heard this Kenny it's really refreshing.
"Oh nothing just missing my baby but ill call later gotta get me some breakfast."
"Breakfast? Elexus it's 3 in the afternoon." Kenny chuckled, I gasped then looked at my phone and sure enough it was 3 pm. Wow I guess without Namiko I don't have my human alarm.
"Guess with Nami not bring there you can actually sleep, I'm gonna miss those days." He chuckles.
"Yea good luck with that, kiss my baby for me."
"Will do." And with that my line was dead, can't believe Chris and I sleep in.
Since he has done so much for me in just one day I decided that I should make us some breakfast. I walk to the kitchen and look in the fridge, slightly empty. I pouted but then remember my favorite restaurant delivers so I got my house phone and went to my speed dial.
"Heyo Ms. Aiko getting the regular today?" Chad, the owner asked answering the phone, I smiled it's been a while since I've order from here. Been trying to eat healthy for Koko, but today I'm making an exception.
"Yes sir, but this time can you make it two orders instead of one."
"Oh course, you want me to put less? I know Namiko won't be able to finish the whole plate." Chad chuckled, and I giggled.
"Um no actually, she's with her father for the day. It's for a friend."
"Ahhh I got it, your food will be there in thirty minutes."
"Thanks Chad."
"Anytime for my favorite customer." and with that we hung up the phone, I looked around and notice that there was a lot of Koko's toys on the living room floor so I cleaned up a bit before going to wake up Chris. When I walked in my room he was still sleep, this time he was stretched out. I bit my lip to stop me from giggling before walking to the bed, I gently laid next to him and just watched him sleep. he looked so handsome I'm still amazed that he wants me after the year he's had. It's so rare to find a gentleman nowadays, someone who you can talk to about anything and you don't have to worry about not being heard. I think it's time for him to meet my family, I know their gonna love him.
