The girl grumbled loudly to herself. Trying her hardest to remember where she had lost the locket. She only recalled putting the locket inside the haversack. But if she searched in her bag again, the locket was still not found.

She kicked a nearby stone in frustration. Should she had instantly sold it, the money can provide her with enough money to actually buy food instead of stealing. She had always felt a bit guilty in doing so. Only a bit.

The girl looked inside her bag again. This time, she saw a folded piece of paper. She unfold it and took a glance. Written there was a bunch of unfamiliar words that she could not comprehend.

She knew how to read and write. Personally taught by her father but she's still not well practiced. She hadn't had any source of literature since her parents deaths so her poor attempt to read is not a big surprise. Looking at the paper again, she could make out that it seemed to be in the formation of a letter of sorts. Although it does seemed a little different.

Out of all the words in the whole paper, only two words were comprehensible to her. Maribelle Cassell.

A name. She thought to herself. Who's? She does not know all the names of the people in town but if memory serves her right, she never heard or knew of anyone with the last name Cassell. Unless, if this person is one of the many merchants that seemed to be flooding the market place.

It's autumn anyway. It is a fact that the town would be crowded by many travellers during this season so she's not really surprised if this person is a traveller.

Refolding the paper, the girl slid it into her dress pocket. Slowly patting it.

She had a feeling that she should search for this woman. The paper could maybe be a letter that was supposed to be sent to the woman who name was written in it. Having nothing to do and really wanted to forget about her misfortune from earlier, she decided to do so.

Brushing her dark hair from poking her eye, she made her way to the marketplace. She could probably find the woman there...

A young girl made her way into the marketplace. Walking with grace. Her wavy blonde hair tied in a messy braid.

She pushed her way through the crowd of people. Completely ignoring the glares she gets from some. She holds small violin in her hand. A violin bow on her other.

She stopped in a much more spacious place in the market. There, she saw a small space between two stalls. One selling precious jewels, the other selling weapons.

With little to no hesitation, the girl walked over to the place. She took off her hat and place it on the ground. She also ignored the stares she got from the sellers.

Holding her violin, she began to play a small melody. She's not really good at playing the violin but she knows how to play one or two songs. Her music attracted a few passersby who had stopped to listen.

Some threw a few copper coins in her hat. She would smile and nod at them when they do so. When one of them threw in a silver coin. Which made the girl celebrate internally.

The melody created from her violin had somehow lightened the mood of the usually dull town. Not only that, the two stalls beside her seemed to be attracting more buyers. The girl could only gave the stall owners a cheeky smile when they looked at her.

After about twenty or so minutes, she stopped playing to take a small break from her work. She sat down on the floor and began to count her earnings. Four silver, thirty-seven copper is what she got.

After she finished counting, she noticed a shadow looming over her. She looked up to see the one blocking the light. There, stood a girl. The girl seemed to be older about a year or more than her.

"Umm, can I help you?" The young violinist asked with confusion.

"Oh, uh. I wanted to ask if you know someone by the name Maribelle Cassell. I uhh... have something to give to her." The girl answered. Giving her a smile that could properly be translated to 'that was a horrible lie but I hope it could fool her'.

The violinist really wanted to tell the girl about how bad of a liar she is but decided against it because she really don't want to deal with her so she just answered the question. "Never heard of her, maybe the guards would know?"

This earn her a small sigh from the other. "Well, I'll be on my way now" and the girl left.

The violinist could only stare at the retreating figure from a distance. 'Not even staying to at least listen to my reply, how rude!".

She was about to place her earnings into her coin sack, only to find the coins missing from her hat.

She really want to swear many words that she had learned from her father's friends but she decided against it because she would probably be scolded by her usual babysitter, who was a friend of her father's and given a teaching about how to be respectable. So, instead of swearing, she let out a small huff of frustration and took hold of her violin again to play some music.

The girl quickly walked (sneaked) away from the marketplace. She didn't find the woman but she did gained a few coins from a girl younger than her. Which she felt really bad about.

When first meeting the girl, she had expected to make friends with her. But it had somehow crossed her mind to steal the hard earned coins that the girl had rightfully earned.

The young violinist is in the same boat as her. Getting coins to feed herself. However, she had never seen her around before....

Maybe the violinist came with one of the merchants? That was probably it.

The girl looked up at the sky. The sun is now halfway across the sky. Now that she think about it, where is Styx?

Wooooo!!!!

This had been a bit hard to write. I'm honestly so happy that I could (finally) finish this. (Even though I should be studying for my exam).

So that's all from me. See ya in the next chapter! (And probably won't update until new years or somethin')
