For ya'll that don't know, these "small blurbs" (I'm not sure if they can be found on the hardbacks of SA, but I know the Mass Market paperbacks--the copies I have, haha--has them) are written by an Aimian, I think a Sleepless (the cremling type). So that's interesting.
The Captain is Kaladin, The Spy is Shallan, The Stonewalker is Szeth (so we're still getting POV's from him and he's still an important character...interesting...), and I think The Traitor is Renarin, Adolin, or Moash, and I'm leaning on Moash because POVs from him would be great and he's pretty dang traitorous (he needs a redemption arc; come back to Bridge four!!). And The King is Dalinar.
All of their goals are so cool I can't even! Kaladin, GO FORTH MY DUDE. Shallan . . . be careful, please I beg you, but GO FORTH. Szeth,,,,,,the most physical form of Suffering™,,,,,,gET THAT TRUTH (but please don't kill more people....*dies at the thought of him carrying nightblood*). Aaaand yeah whoever The Traitor is, GET THAT FREEDOM.
And Dalinar. Oh man. His flashbacks are gonna KILL me, aren't they.
(Er, not that this has been a problem, but friendly reminder not to comment any Oathbringer spoilers. I'm not reading the sample chapters and I'd DIE if I saw a spoiler. If you know anything about what I rambled above, please please PLEASE don't tell me anything Oathbringer-y. If it's already published canon, from previous SA books, then yes, spill. Especially if I made an error. Otherwise, shhhhhh. Thanks! :D)
Side note, my friend and I were talking about Cosmere stuffs today and I'm just totally excited for Oathbringer and the Lost Metal and non-Cosmere works like the Apolocaplys Guard and Alcatraz and the Rithmatist . . . there's just a bunch of good ole BSandy stuff coming and that makes me happy. :)
