FALL DOWN, FALL DOWN : KELLIN QUINN
"...It's so upsetting how I feel
like there's nowhere to go...
So put your hand up for me let me know..."
Vic's P.O.V
"Apologize to him for me... okay?" I was caught off guard by Miranda waving her hand infront of my face.
"What?" I looked back in her dirction. We were currently sitting at the lunch table. Her, across from me. There was a couple of other people at the other side of the table, I just ignored them.
"I said, I want you...To apologize to Kellin." She was now looking at me, straight in the eyes.
"For what?" I said with a hint of attitude in my tone. I already knew what she wanted me to apologize for.
"For calling him gay, Vic. I know for a fact you didn't apologize already...And that really hurt his feelings! I don't care how stupid you think it is-..."
"How do you know I haven't apologized to him?" I crossed my arms, dropping the fork I had in my hand.
"Well, I know you haven't really talked to him at all because-..."
"Because he hasn't even been in the room, or at lunch, or at fucking group in 2 weeks." I interrupted her.
"Yeah, well I'm sure he doesn't exactly like being in solitary confinem-..." She said all too quickly, My expression changed completely, my head shot up as I gave her a surprised, yet questioning look.
She noticed and suddenly stopped herself by shutting her mouth quickly. Her eyes widened immediately with regret.
"N-Never min-..."
"Solitary confinement?" I shot, interrupting her words. Why the fuck was Kellin in 'solitary confinement'?
She just looked at me with a bit of a 'deer-in-the-headlights' look.
"Wow, this sandwich is really good-..." She shoved a bite into her mouth.
"Why is he in solitary confinement?" I semi-whispered.
"Did you try your sandwich-..." She continued to try to change the subject. "...it kind of taste like-..."
"Miranda!" I interrupted her, making her flinch a little, "...Is that why Kellin hasn't been around?"
"I wasn't supposed to say anything..." She looked down in shame, slowly setting her sandwich down on her tray.
"Is he in trouble? What did he do?" I said, almost immediately. She looked down and shrugged like she didn't know.
Liar.
She knew and it was more than obvious.
"Tell me..." I urged her, I was curious as to what the goody goody had done to be locked in an isolated room and put in restraints. How bad could it be right? This is Kellin we're talking about here. She put her hands in her lap and continued to look down.
"He told me not-..."
"C'mon! Just tell me! It can't be that bad!" I repeated my thoughts, "...I don't know him very well but, this is Kellin we're talking about here, what's the worse he could have done?" I slightly laughed and leaned against the table.
