Vic's P.O.V

After we had sat there in silence a little longer, one of the nurses came in looking for both of us. I ended up having to stand on the toilet until Kellin left, leaving me to sneak out a couple minutes later. After that, we went to group like we were supposed to. Kellin didn't really seem like he was all there. He was quiet the whole time and didn't smile once. The only time he looked at me was when I would nudge him or lightly kick his foot with mine. After group, we went back to our room and did nothing. Kellin was really quiet and just kind of stared. After a while, I figured he wasn't going to talk to me, so just went to sleep.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of thunder. My eyes slowly fluttered open to see that it was dark, of course and all I could hear was the rain heavy pounding against the building.

After a while I was forced to sit up by the nurse who brought me my medication. It's always the same; she comes in like every other day, asked me how I'm feeling, I lie, then she moved on to Kellin. 

Kellin.

I rubbed my eyes, waking myself up a little more as I remembered what happened yesterday and how different he acted. I watched as she woke him up and gave him what he had to take, then left. He didn't eve try to make conversation with her this morning. I don't even think he smiled.

After she left, I waited a few minutes. Kellin had already fallen back onto his pillow and I could see that his eyes were closed. I took a breath before slowly pulling the blanket off of me and standing up. After stretching and yawning, I took a couple steps to the side of Kellin's bed and sunk down to my knees, resting my chin on my arms as I folded them over his matress. His eyes were closed and his breathing was steady; I just watched him sleep peacefully for a few seconds...but not in a creepy way.

"Kellin..." I whispered.

His eyebrows furrowed and he closed his eyes a little bit tighter, but he didn't wake up.

"Keelliinn..." I softly said in a sing-song voice this time. His eyes fluttered open and they got wide when he realized how close I was. I let out a tiny chuckle.

"Hey."

"Hi?" He whispered, snuggling against his pillow. "Uhh-... What are you doing?"

I smiled a little, "I just wanted to ask if you were okay...because, you know-... yesterday..."

Kellin just stared at me for a second; he then gave me a sleepy smile, rolling his eyes as he pulled his blanket back and patted the spot next to him. "Come here..."

I kept myself from smiling as I hesitantly crawled into his bed. He started scooting over, and I guess I was moving too slow because-

"Lay down already." He mumbled as he snaked his arm over my waist and pulled me against him, forcing me to lay down. I let out a nervous laugh; my eyes widened as he got closer to my side, pulling the blanket back over us. I carefully moved my arm beside his pillow and he almost instantly lifted his head, letting my arm fall beneath his neck. He snuggled closer,  resting his head on my chest so that I was holding him. I let my hand carefully moved against his shoulder feeling his back slowly rise and fall.
