One starry night,
He dreamt of flight,
One starry night,
He found his wings, what a sight,
One starry night,
He ran and ran through the dark,
One starry night,
He rose up in the wind, it was something to mark,
One starry night,
He felt the tides,
One starry night,
Through the feathers of his wings air bustled, never have they lied,
High up in the star sprinkled sky,
They saw the boy fly,
Saw his chains break,
Saw the blindfold fall from his face,
Saw his spread wings of deep colour,
And he flew to great valor.
