You lay on your bed staring at the ceiling with one ear bud in.

Knock knock knock

"Y/n sweetie" your fathers voice said from outside your door.

Sitting up you pulled a blanket over your legs quickly

"Come in." You say with a quickly beating heart.

The door opened and your dad stood with a raw expression

"Sal and I are heading to the prison to see your mom again. Did you want to come this time?" He asked

Your eyes narrow at the floor

"No..."

"I figured.. Ill see you in the morning then sweetheart." He said closing the door.

You knew he and your little brother wouldn't be back for at least 4 hours so you put on a jacket and like always when they left you head to the roof.

Sitting you stare at the stars... The ones you could see anyways.

"Is that you doll face?" A gruff voice said

You turn to see who you had been watching for all these nights.

"I knew you'd show up." You smirked.

"And hows that?" He asked stepping into the light.

"Im irresistible"

He chuckled low and sat next to you .

"Why you so interested in me anyways?" Raphael asked

You shrug taking a deep breath.

"Maybe because your different.." You reply

"In a bad way." Raph said seriously

"No."

"Look at me ... I'm a freak... A monster." Raph looked to the ground as small raindrops began hitting his skin lightly

"an imaginary creature that is typically large, ugly, and frightening."

"What?"

"A monster... Is an imaginary creature that is typically large, ugly, and frightening." You repeated

"Im exactly that.."

"No.. First of all your not imaginary and second your not ugly nor are you frightening, to me." You say bumping his shoulder to make him look up.

"Thats just it... To you I'm not.. To others.. Im so much worse."

"Others look at you with their eyes... Not their mind."

"What are you done kind of wisdom warlock. ?"

"It would be witch and no... Im just smart." You smiled

"Like me brother" Raph chuckled

" I hope to meet him some day.." You say

"Fuck some day." Raph stood pulling you into his arms.

"Lets go now."

Everything began to blur... All you saw now was his face.
