After 5 years...
ALVEAR
"And last pose... Nice!" The camera man said and I nodded. "We're done for today, good job everyone!" He shouted and that's when I started to grab my clothe that my manager was holding and wore it.
A lot of people, a lot of cameras, a lot of lights.
These are the things that are not new to me.
"Alvear, as usual, I never had any hard time with you. Thank you for your time." The magazine producer said.
Yes, I go with the name Alvear now.
A 50 year old woman, with a pink-colored hair. Wearing fancy and expensive clothes. "Thank you, Ma'am. It's my pleasure to work with you." I said to her.
She is Madam E. Short for Ezmeralda. The woman who is on top of the fashion world here in America.
She's been dominating the whole fashion world because of her collection and connection.
According to some articles that I have read since I first came here, in America, she started from being just a simple dreamer who had her chance and proven herself.
It only took her two years just to be on top of the chain.
And up until now, she's still on top.
"Nahh, it IS my pleasure to work with a talented model like you and have you as the front cover of my magazine." She answered.
"You're giving me too much credits, Ma'am E. I owe my photos to the people behind all of my photo shoots." I said.
Madam E nodded at me and smiled, "yeah, I guess so. I owe it to all of you." She quickly said.
She's old but it doesn't show because she's being covered by her ornaments.
The two of us first met at a fashion show I attended with Mama. It turned out that the show was hers.
There she showed her collection of dresses and gowns.
And after that, our paths crossed and it was the start of my career. Yes, Madam E was the one who introduced me to the fashion industry and of course, it wasn't easy.
She told me to brace myself and always be ready for I will be facing a lot.
And it was true. I faced a lot. I met many people and experienced a lot of things.
I took her advises seriously and those helped me a lot and put me to where I am today.
It's hard to admit but this woman? I owe it to her. I do.
"I'll be taking my leave, then. I'm afraid I can't have a dinner with you because I have something important to do. Sorry, Madam E." I said and just hugged her and kissed her on her cheek.
"That's okay, Alvear. Take your time, we'll have dinner together next time, maybe?" He said, I nodded.
"Good bye, Madam." I said and started walking my way out of the building.
"Alvear, what did you just say?" My manager asked me as the two of us are walking.
I looked at her and smiled, "I lied to her, okay? I just don't want to have a dinner with her because all of what I'll get are her boring topics and whatsoever and I'm so tired to even listen to her that I'd rather go home and sleep all day long." I explained in exhaustion.
Lily just shook her head and looked at me in disbelief. "My gosh, Alvear!" She exclaimed as she walked pass me and quickly opened the door of the car that has been waiting for us to arrive.
