In the Headmaster's Office, ALBUS shakes the hand of an elderly woman interviewing for the caretaker's job.

ALBUS: Thank you, Miranda. We'll let you know as soon as possible.

MIRANDA smiles and exits the office. MINERVA enters, knocking at the door.

MINERVA: How's it coming?

ALBUS: Very well. Are there any more applicants?

MINERVA: Just one more, but-

ALBUS: But what?

MINERVA: He's, umm- (she walks over to the desk and lowers her voice) -he's a Squib, Albus.

ALBUS: And?

MINERVA: And, well, it might not be quite appropriate to hire a Squib as a caretaker for a magical school, now would it?

ALBUS: Minerva, dear, I thought I had taught you better? I told you that Squibs can be highly useful to our cause. And the point of equality is to give everyone a fair chance, is it not?

MINERVA: Yes, sir. So I should- I should send him in, then?

ALBUS: (smiling) Yes, you should.

MINERVA exits the office once more, and ushers in a haggard-looking man.

ALBUS: Hello, there.

ARGUS: Hello, sir. (Holding out his hand) Argus Filch.

ALBUS: Hello, Argus. Well, let's get started, shall we?
