After all this, needless to say that I was lost.
I wanted to believe what was happening so badly, but I couldn't wrap my mind around it.
The family had left for the day, telling me that college was out of the question, so I'd have to get a job or just take care of my "sister", Eva May.
Deciding to do both, I grabbed Eva's carrier and diaper bag, and off we were.
Walking of course, I didn't have a car.
Eventually, after asking for directions many times, i finished my route at the local daycare center where I was to drop off Eva for a few hours.
If I wasn't allowed to go to college, I was going to get a decent job of some sort.
As I walked through the plexi-glass doors of the daycare, I was greeted by a plump, little old lady.
"Hello dear, how may we assist you today"
"I'm just here to drop off Eva...I need to look for a job"
"Nonsense, you just scored yourself a job here, follow me."
Wow, two stops in one,
Maybe my luck is changing.
