At night or during daylight hours
As long as there is silence
With kids or husband
As long as they aren't banging and chatting away
I write free hand or on laptops
Or desktops uncluttered
Without the rambling of people
And clanging of to do lists
And dressing and eating
As long as its silent and I can wear
Next to nothing with food unimportant
The ideas flow like water through
An unencumbered tap
