everett clutches his face for a second as they're both in shock and then plows into aidan, slamming him into the ground so hard that he sees stars. they roll around several times, and everett ends up on top, gripping him by the collar so hard that his knuckles are white.

"if you do that ever again," he seethes. "i'll kill you."

everett lets go of him and watches aidan's head hit the grass. he gets up and mumbles something under his breath, but then he's gone.
