She was stuck...
Her mind wouldn't let her go any where else. Lillium felt like she was some where else other than in the darkness of her mind. She could feel a cool breeze against her skin, along with a gentle rush of water, she could feel it now.
She was in the river of minds.
The river of minds is made of the forgotten memories of the forgetful people.
Lillium never wanted to be forgetful she liked her memories, no matter how painful.
It's because they made up who she was, they were hers even when she had nothing, she had her memories to create the hope she needed to live on. Without her memories she would have never had the idea to leave her past.
And she too, would have been forgotten among the distasteful trash and left like the favorite toy of a child who's out grown them.
Lillium although never wanted to have a heart... Had one anyways. One that wanted to be better than it's formal self. Lillium's heart had changed from all those years of no longer being torn apart, it had changed for the better. But the only thing that hasn't changed was, Lillium's mind....
"That's why I'm here." Lillium thought, but she had spoke out-loud. " I'm here to forget something...." Lillium's voice echoed in there air as if she was in a cavern. She tried to move but her bare body was chained to the ground.
Lillium stared to the sky. It was so clear that the stars looked like she was in a different world. It was so beautiful....
Lillium could feel herself crying.
Her tears felt hot as they ran down her face. She didn't bother fighting against the chains that held her down. Fighting something that was bound to happen was as pitiful as a butterfly fighting to get out of a spider's web.
Lillium was the butterfly.
Her memories the web.
And the world was the hungery spider coming ever so closer to devour yet another victim of the game of life.Lillium could feel herself fading away little by little as her memories were being torn away from her soul.
It burned.
Than she forgot all the pain.
And she also had forgotten the love too.
She forgot what happened. But she still hasn't woke up yet either.
Ace was looking at Lillium in her sleep, again she looked like she was in pain. Her friend Bellamy was getting coffee for him and Ace.
Something didn't feel right he didn't know what the feeling was. But he knew it was very wrong...
Ace was looking at Lillium's face when he saw a single tear slide down her face. Ace wiped it away for her. And he leaned back it to the chair.
" A run away... I would have never guessed..." Ace looked at Lillium again. Ace does this alot now that it's the winter break. He comes over to see her, some have given up on Lillium. Her sister has stopped coming, along with her friends from school. It's just the nurses, Bellamy and Ace who still visits her. Ace looked over at a bundle of dead roses in the corner of the room. He frowned as he had gotten up.
To Ace a dead rose means that someone would die soon.
Ace had thrown all of the roses away in the trash outside of Lillium's room. But one stayed in his hand. For some reason that rose was still alive.
Ace was refilling the vase with clean water when Bellamy came into the room. " Here, drink this" Bellamy handed Ace a cup of coffee. As Ace was finishing with the rose he has pricked him self with it.
" Thanks Bellamy"Next to the rose Lillium was watching the Men in her room. She was looking at Bellamy, then looking at the guy who had pricked his finger on the rose...
She couldn't remember who the blue haired man was.
Every time she tried to it was like a wave of water was washing a way the foot prints in the sand.
It felt like she was forgetting something important but she couldn't tell what it was that she had to remember....
