Another day, another trip to the quarry. You had jumped into the water, holding Beverly's hand, which was a thing you did often but the boys never caught on.
You were dating Beverly, but you couldn't act on your feelings in front of the others. You wished you could hold her and kiss her, but you couldn't. It was wrong in the eyes of most everyone around you. You weren't sure about the losers though.
You were all messing around, play fighting, splashing each other, teasing each other. It was a normal, fun day.
You and Bev decided to swim a little bit closer to the rocks then the other losers were. She grabbed your hand, stroking your knuckles with her thumb. "Come here, I want to try something," She told you.
In an instant, you were both underwater, both of you very close together. She leaned in, pressing her lips against yours. After a few seconds you both pulled away before coming up to the surface. She smiled at you as you surfaced.
After a while, you and the rest of the losers made your way out of the water. You and Bev sat with your legs over the edge, dangling above the water.
Meanwhile, Richie was talking to the boys. "I saw them go underwater together and come out at the same time. So I went underwater when they did and they got really, really close. Like kissing close. We gotta follow them," Richie quietly explained his plan to the male members of the losers club.
"R-Richie I don't t-think that's a good idea," Bill replied, shaking his head. "I bet you didn't even really see anything, Richie," Eddie said, rolling his eyes. "But I did!" Richie argued.
"Hey, guys, I think we're going to head to (y/n)'s house," Beverly told them. They all quickly nodded, looking at each other, understanding the plan.
They would wait a few minutes before following behind you, and if you caught them, they just decided to go home too.
It had been a few minutes since you left, which meant the boys would be leaving now. They quickly and quietly made their way through the woods until they found you.
You and Beverly were holding hands as you walked through the forest, looking longingly at each other every so often. The boys noticed this as they followed you.
Beverly stopped you, looking around to make sure no one was there. She smiled down at you, not having seen the boys, and she leaned down, kissing you softly on the lips. You melted into it, until you were interrupted but someone falling behind you.
You and Beverly shot away from each other, spinning in all directions to see where it came from. You turned around to find Eddie Kaspbrak laying there. "E-E-Eddie?" You stuttered, shooting a glance at Beverly.
"See! I was right! There is something going on with them!" Richie called triumphantly from behind a tree. "Richie, shut up!" Stan responded. "Well they know we're here now," Mike sighed, and they all stepped out from behind the trees.
Beverly and your mouth hung agape. "Shit..." You whispered, looking at all your friends in front of you. "So, are you guys, like... Dating?" Richie asked, raising an eyebrow.
You and Bev shared a glance before sighing. "Yes," You mumbled. "R-Really? Wow," Bill raised an eyebrow after you said that. "If you don't want to be friend anymore it's fine," You told them, shaking your head. Ben was the first to step forwards, "Why wouldn't we be your friend just because you're different?" He said shrugging.
Then all the others started stepping forwards, agreeing with that Ben said. You smiled at all your friends, knowing they would support you till the end.
