People Change

It was Saturday and today Colby was gonna take me out on a date in celebration of 5.5 million subscribers. I got out of bed and made my way downstairs to start my cup of coffee.
I brushed my teeth and tied my hair up into a messy bun so I wouldn't look a mess all morning.
As Colby made his way down to the kitchen, the smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the air. Amazing.
"Good morning babe." I said grabbing my favorite mug that said 'Fuck off I'm drinking my Coffee.'
Colby got that for me.
"Morning." He said giving me a kiss on the forehead. I smiled at him in response and poured my cup of coffee. I added milk and sugar and sat down opening up my computer.
"So what do you want to do today." Colby asked as he made his Cereal.
"Um...I don't actually know." I said looking through my emails. Colby was making suggestions as I read my emails. He said we can go to a restaurant, or throw a little get together, or maybe even just be simple and go shopping. I cringed slightly at the thought of another party. The thought of Colby getting drunk like that all over again left a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.
"How about sho-" I was cut off by the sound of my phone ringing. "Hold up, its my manager."
He nodded as I picked up the phone and answered the call.
"Heller." I said. Colby chuckled at my foolishness and quickly quieted down when I chuckled as I put my finger up to my lips. That grin quickly faded when my manager gave me the news. "Awe man that sucks...sure whatever...yup I'll be there soon."
"What happened." Colby asked.
"I have a meeting. It's about tour and all that stuff."
"Your going on tour?"
"I don't know yet. If I am I'm not going to that many places. I'll be in Ohio, Vegas, Connecticut, New York, Florida, Texas. I don't know." I shrugged.
"I mean it would have been nice to know." Colby muttered under his breath. He then quickly shook his head. "I mean whatever. It's fine I don't really care. That actually sounds dope."
I nodded and shrugged. I went upstairs to get ready for my meeting. I knew I was going to be meeting a ton of people that were gonna sponsor me so I wanted to make a good first impression. I grabbed my sweater and keys.
"So I know I won't see you for a couple of hour.  Put on a shirt. Are you gonna stay here?" I asked fumbling with my Keys. Colby gave me a look of shock, as if asking if I'd gone mental.
"I can stay here...without you." He asked looking around for dramatic effect. I shrugged once again and handed him my house keys.
"Sure. Your my boyfriend. Mi casa su casa." I said.
I gave him a kiss on the cheek and exited my house telling him I'd be back later.

Alice walked out of the house without another word. I opened up my hand and examined the keys. She trust me with her house. She trusted me with her heart. She trusts me. Trusts Me.
I shook my head and pulled out my phone. I dialed Brennens Number and let it ring.  It took a couple of seconds but eventually he picked up.
  "What's up man?" He said with sleepiness in his voice.
  "Hey come over to Alice's place she's not here." I said looking out the window to make sure she was officially gone.
  "Say no more." He said.  I heard the excitement in his voice along with the creek of his bed.  He was getting out of bed.
  I hung up the phone and ran upstairs to grab a shirt.  I thought of Alice's reminder and shook the thought off.

  "What good bro?" Brennen exclaimed
"Hey man. Thanks for coming." I said getting up from the couch. "So I have a plan."
"Ohhh I like the sound of that." Brennen said patting my back and running up the steps. I raised a brow then Followed him. He was now in our bed room and opening Alice's laptop. "Come on man. What's the password?"
"Why?" I asked looking at our calendar. Our anniversary was coming up. What was I gonna get her?
"Dude your joking right. Come on tell me the code." He said waiting for my answer.
"Bro that's invasive." I said closing the laptop.
"Dude who cares. You're dating her for the follows. We said we'd use opportunity's like this to gain even more. What's the problem." He said opening it up again. I shook my head trying to snap out of the day dream I was living.
"Sorry man. I don't know why I was hesitant." I said rubbing my eyes. "It's um....d5L2"
"Thank you. See now we're cooking."
"But that's not why I called you." I said fidgeting with my cross. "I want to throw a party for Alice."
"Why? Bro it's not even her birthday." He said.
"She reached 5.5 mil subs today." I said, "Its me saying I'm proud."
"Why do you care." He said. Brennen stopped what he was doing and searched my face. "You didn't catch feelings did you?"
"Bro of course not." I lied. Every fiber in my body was used to say that. Each day I hung out with Alice she made my happier and happier. I didn't want to do admit it but it was true. But then I was reminded of what she did. How close she was to ruining my career. The hate I still get because of her. That is unforgivable. "I just want an excuse to drink. She hates it when I do considering last time I got drunk I passed out and woke up in a tub."
"Okay." He chuckled nervously. "Had me nervous there for a second. We're in way to deep to back out now, man."
His words hit me. It was to late. I was so deep into this relationship. Alice and I knew to much about each other. And she likes me. A lot. And even worse, I like her.  A lot.
