Too Much Too Fast

Okay I honestly don't know what I'm writing about.. so yee enjoy! Oh and btw this is mainly on orion's side but without all the I's and first person shiz.

Orion was the type of girl to get good grades in school, to be the girl who everyone knew as friendly, who knew right from wrong, someone who has some integrity out of a group of bad kids and angst. Not the type of girl who jumped out of her window in the middle of the night for a stupid high-school party, let alone a girl.

Marley, the prettiest girl in school but for some strange reason not the most popular. Marley chose friends over fame which is not something most teenage girls could say they did, she was compassionate, hard headed, a nice girl who could also easily get off track like Orion. The two mutually knew each other through friends but Orion knew that she liked her the moment they met.
Just one small problem, Orion didn't even know if Marley was into girls. If she wasn't, that's fine but Orion would slowly crawl into a hole and never come out. But hey, there have been rumors going around saying she was bi, Orion knows it's not the best idea to listen to rumors or believe them but she hopes the are true.
Both girls come from middle class families with a rocky past but all is well. Marley went through a rough patch with her parents and siblings around the age of 8 when her dad was having an affair with another woman, but thankfully her mother forgave her father. Orion went through a really rough divorce between her parents around 5 and even after they split they continued to argue and bicker, it left Orion in the middle of it but then the fighting transformed from parents to siblings. Yeah, then siblings and parents. Marley still has a rough time with her parents nowadays but overall it's gotten better than before.

It's the girls junior year together and they both strive to make it better than the last.

Of course like any teenage girl with even slight privilege has been to a party with nasty beer, hard liquor, and sneaker heads. Orion found herself being invited to one by her friends named Louise, she told her it would be fun and there was nothing to worry about, no boys grabbing your ass, no awkward hellos to people you haven't talked to in years. Just a fun crazy party with no adult supervision what so ever.

Should be fun right?

Orion said yes just for the heck of it and asked for the rest of the info before her parents made her. She left with a few numbers, a small list, and a shred of hope. As she walked home she noticed chatter behind on her usually quiet road. As she turned around she was prepared to fight off a nasty pedophile, but it was just Marley and another girl. A small sigh left her and she before turned back around Marley gave her a sweet smile. Not wanting to be rude Orion smiled back but on the inside she felt like ripping out her hair from Marley having any human contact with her in the first place. She kept walking up the road with little hope that Marley will walk with her. As Orion got lost in thought about the different scenarios that might happen between them but a voice brought her out of it.
"Hey Orion!"
She froze and turned around to see an alone Marley.
"Hey Marley how's it going..?"
"Pretty good what about you?"
The small talk burns Orion's soul but for the sake of not breaking down she answers anyway.
"I'm doing decently.. "
Aahgh the small talk....
"so um... did you hear about the party on Friday? I heard it's gonna be ready fun, are you going? You should really come it'll be awesome!!" Marley said with a cheery voice. As they continued walking
"yeah I think I'll go but I'm kind of scared, I don't go to parties very often so this'll probably end up with me going home early. But I gotta get the student experience at some point, right?"

I gave a small smile of achievement to myself for not already breaking down in sweat and tears.
" Maybe or you could have the best fucking night ever! If you want I'll even stick with you and make sure you have a great time" she said with raised eyebrows, not so much in a sexual way but the thought surely ran through Orion's mind, Orion not knowing what else to say just nodded her head.
"promise you'll come? Oh please we'll have such a great time!! Plus I wanna get to know you more, you seem like a decent person compared to some of the assholes at school." Orion could see the genuine hope in Marley's eyes as she asked her which made Orion's heart just flutter. Okay don't fuck this up Orion, you have at least a decent chance of being good friends with her, Orion thought to herself.
"okay, I promise. But if I can't make it just give me your number so I can text you that I'm not coming before hand." Orion felt great pride for being that smooth in asking for Marley's number. They stopped walking and turned towards each other.
"oh yeah definitely, here just give me your phone I'll put my number in" Marley gestured to the lump in Orion's pocket which was her phone but Orion hesitantly pulled it out and made sure all her lesbian ass shit was locked away quickly(A/N:come on, we've all had some gay ass shit on our phones). Orion handed  Marley her phone and patiently waited. Marley quickly found her contacts and added in her number then set her name as 'bad ass bitch🙏🏼🙏🏼💜💜' which made her giggle.
Oh my dear lord that was so adorable how am I still breathing normally aghhhgg, Orion thought and had a mini heart attack meanwhile.
A few awkward silent moments later, Marley gave back her phone, tucked her long straight brown hair behind her ear rather quickly(A/N: and like all the other fucking stories on this God forsaken site) and smoothly bit her lip looking down at the sidewalk as a small pink tone invaded her beautifully chubby cheeks
She looks super flustered, is she okay? I don't know but it's really fucking cute Orion didn't give it much thought but little did she know she had made a simple yet fatal mistake.

The two continued walked up the street and as they came to a 3 way intersection they said their goodbyes and parted. It was only a short distance to Orion's house and only a few minutes later she was home, safe from all the drama outside of the four walls, not to worry about anything else. Or at least so she thought.
