A new purpose (pjo/ HoO fanfic)

Twilight 8

I looked to the moon.
"Milady?" I asked in my head. I knew it was pointless but I can only hope.
"Percy? How are you in my head?!"
"I don't know but I need your help. The shape shifters know I'm a demigod and they want proof. I can't prove to them without violence if you don't come. One already attacked me" at the She seemed more worried.
"Okay percy. We're on or way"
The only I turned back to the awaiting shape shifters.
"Proof is on the way but can you get the vampires here so I only have to do this once?" At that they seemed to growl. Then I heard a new noise. It wasn't the hunters either. Then I heard the familiar grunt of the Minotaur. It seemed far but it was travelling quickly my way.
"get the humans away now! Shape shifters! Your teeth won't kill this monster only a weapon like my sword can. Get to safety." They seemed confused. Then Jake spoke.
" 1) you don't have a sword 2) What monster 3) our teeth can kill anything even vampires"
" 1)" i uncapped riptide and it grew into my trusty 3 foot sword.
"2) the Minotaur is a Greek monster. 3) only 4 metals can kill these monsters. Imperial gold (Roman) Stygian iron (sons of the underworld) hunting silver (hunters) and celestial bronze (Greeks)" and gestured to my own sword.
They nodded in understanding and went to guard the mortals, not like that would help.

Then the Minotaur came out in a loud roar. "Oi! Beef head? Come try and kill me again!" With that it charged like the last time and I side stepped. It was like the first time I defeated the Minotaur. It still hasn't  learned. Once again, it got its horn stuck in a tree and it snapped off as he pulled him self free. He let out a cry of pain. I took this time to pull the horn free and stab it into the Minotaurs Ribcage, straight into his heart. With a final grunt, he disappeared into golden dust and blown away with the wind.
Then I heard clapping from small, feminine hands.
"My, my, Perseus, the legends are true! You can kill the Minotaur with your bare hands" called Artemis. Clapping slowly.  I did a comical bow and said
"Wouldn't be my first time Milady!"
I made the mistake of looking into her eyes. Those amazing sil-
I got cut of by a growl behind me. I instantly turned round armed with riptide. The good thing was it was just the pack. The bad thing was they were in a fighting stance.
"Calm yourselves! If I had left the Minotaur would have killed you all. This is my proof." They gave me a confused look. "Shapeshifters let me introduce you to the hunters."

Not 5 minutes later we had met up with the vampire clan in a small valley. I understand the shapeshifters and vampires were enemies but they'll have to get along.

"Okay? Let me get this straight, your vampires?" I nodded towards the pale crowd. They nodded back at me. Then I turned to the shirtless men with tattoos. "And your shapeshifters?"
At this Sam stepped forward.
"We are not shapeshifters" he started. All the hunters and I raised an eye brow. We couldn't have got it wrong.
"We are werewolves" he got interrupted by Artemis.
"You are not werewolves. I have battled and killed many in my time. Werewolves are Greek monsters. You are shapeshifters that take the form of a wolf because you believe it is the best form to take to kill you enemies." The 'wolves' looked confused but didn't say anything after Billy Black nodded in agreement.

"Can you please introduce yourselves? And we'll do the same" Artemis said.
Then I added
"Just say your name, parents and what you are, for a lack of a better phrase"

......Many introductions later....

"Okay guys if slaying the Minotaur wasn't enough proof I present to you the goddess, moonbeam over here" I said gesturing to Artemis and then she introduced herself.
"Your a goddess? You look 13!" Someone called out. I think it was emmet. Then Artemis flashed her real form and returned back in 18 year old from. Wow.
"Okay never mind"

"Okay back to business!" I called with my commanders voice that no one can deny. It defiantly got everyone's attention. It holds no magic yet it's more powerful than charmspeak.

"Olympus needs allies! We need strong soldiers. I have personally led 2 wars to victory. If you join our alliances, you will receive awards for your deeds. I myself have been offered immortality and godhood but I traded them in for wishes. I do not know when the next war will be in the Greek world, but we need to be more prepared than before."
Then I paused.
"Do you accept?" One by one they each accepted. "Great"

And with that I was flashed to Olympus.
"Well done hero! You have completed your quest." I bowed down in respect.
"Rise Hero. What reward would you like?" I looked at Zeus incredulously.
"Milord, I do not need a reward, If was easy! I only fought the Minotaur. No reward is necessary." He seemed thoughtful for a minute.
"How about a wish? You can save it for later" and then I was flashed away to my old room in Apollo's temple.
