Annabeth's POV (Bet you didn't see that coming)I was sitting at the beach wondering where Percy was right now. Don't get me wrong, I am happy with Nathan, but I've known Percy for so long, I can't help but worry. I'm not heartless you know. Is it weird that I find myself wishing that Nathan acted a little more like him? I mean Percy was kind and selfless but Nathan always has to have his way- it's quite tiring. I was thinking about the two sons of Poseidon, looking over his realm when I was interrupted but the man himself.
"Annabeth? Chiron called an emergency meeting at the big house. All the cabin councillors have to be there." Nathan informed me. "I hope it's important, I hate my time being wasted." See what I'm taking about? Obviously it was important. That's why it's an emergency meeting I thought mentally rolling my eyes. I got up from the sand and walked passed him to the big house.
As soon as I entered, I felt like I was in the presence of a god, but I also felt warmth and hope radiating off of him or her. Maybe it was Lady Hestia? I wondered. Nathan and I were the last there and it was dead silent. Why was that? I let Nathan go in first and he stopped dead in his tracks before timidly sitting in his chair. It was Percy's chair before he ran way.
I walked forward and surveyed the room. My eyes met with everyone.
I was shocked to silence when my eyes landed on his. His unruly black hair still the same. His sea green eyes seemed cracked slightly but they glowed with a new found light. His stance was soft but ready. His lips that were usually pulled into a lopsided smirk was now a tight line.
I was standing in front of Percy Jackson.(Just kidding. It's not over yet!)
I slowly walked up to him. His eyes didn't leave mine but not in the loving way he used to look at me. His gaze was stern and daring. This face distantly reminded me of 'commander percy' when we were at war. But at the same time he looked like he was angry and annoyed. Why would he use that face.
"Percy?" I asked. My voice just over a whisper.
"Sit down please. This is important." He said stiffly. Okay. He really didn't want to talk. I sat in my chair. Waiting for him to explain himself."The last you saw of Percy, he was on his way to Olympus. When he got there, he was awarded the title of 'the Olympians' Demi god'. He has spent his past month on 2 quests for the gods. The one he is on now, has turned out a lot worse than we thought." Chiron said before wheeling his chair out the lime light for Percy.
"My current quest was set by Lady Hecate" he started walking as he spoke.
"I was sent to her pet world filled with witches and wizards. They had just come out a war themselves and the left over enemy is trying to take down Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" He said pausing for breath and that was the time to interrupt my boyfriend."Yeah! Because we are supposed to believe in witches and wizards" he called out to Percy, who looked calm and collected. "Why should we believe the boy that all his friends left? They left for a reason!" Okay now Percy looks more annoyed.
"Don't believe me? Fine" he said reaching for his pocket, and pulled out a beautifully decorated stick. Nathan laughed.
"What are you going to do with a blunt stick" he tested. Percy just rolled his eyes and flicked the stick. A blue light bursted out and hit Nathan square in the chest. By the time I stopped seeing dots, Nathan was a pig. I ran to him and scooped him up.
"What did you do?" I questioned loudly.
"Well, I turned him into a pig. Calm down, I'll turn him back later. I need to say this without any interruptions. You will all stay quiet until I ask for questions." He said putting his magic stick away in his pocket. I'm guessing it's a wand because if the stories are true, wizards use wands to channel their power."Okay, I was sent to a school for wizards and witches by Lady Hecate to help them fight against a band of people called Death Eaters - do not laugh - they were the follows of a bad wizard that attacked the school last year. They want revenge. At least that is what I thought." He said and suddenly stopped pacing and looking us in the eye.
"I was enrolled as a student but then the head master made me a student-teacher. I'm more teacher though, since I don't have any classes anymore. On one of my first days at the school, Greek monsters attacked it. It was too coordinated for it to be random. There was hellhounds, emoposei, the Chimera and even the immortals skeletons. I fought them and called Nico in for the skeletons. I then explained to them who I was. I started to train them on how to fight Monsters because magic will not harm them, it was evident that they will be present in the battle that is yet to come." He said standing all wise and then he started walking around again. I'm guessing this is the bad part.
"Hecate, Artemis, the head teacher and their government leaders were at a war meeting, discussing what to do. We had planned out who was where in the event of an attack and what the students needed to learn. I was about to end the meeting when Hecate blacked out for a second. She was looking into the enemy side and saw something. She told me to read her mind and look. What i saw was a large monster army and when I looked deeper, i saw that their leader was being influenced by Kronos"I gasped, along with everyone else in the room- apart from Chiron. I'm guessing he has already heard this. Kronos couldn't be stirring, he was meant to stay dormant for at least a millennia.
"Kronos will not wake yet, but if this battle is lost, he will gain powerful allies and a strong base for his army and himself when he rises. That is why I called for plan B" He said
"What's plan B?" I asked him slightly scared for the answer.
"Camp half blood is Plan B. I'm sorry but their is another war, if we loose this, the next war will be a lot worse. I do not want to risk olympus' future on myself and quickly trained wizards, it will be leaving too much to chance. If it was without Kronos, I would have to have done it alone + the help of the hunt. But the Olympians agree that you are needed now." He said now slightly angry.
"Sign up to the war. Stop Kronos before he rises. All the Heroes that died last time, would have died in vain. You are needed right now. Who is going to step up?" He asked with such intensity and passion, I knew he needed to win this war, for Olympus and some hidden personal reason.Slowly, each councillor stood and pledged their allegiance to Percy and the gods. He told us to prepare the campers to leave at a seconds notice. Percy ordered the cabin leaders to pack and be ready to leave for the castle for tonight.
This would be interesting.
