Sam and Richie were jutted awake by a knock on the door.
"Sam, sweetie, someone's at the door for you!" Sam's dad's voice said from the hallway.
"Okay Dad, thanks!"
"Yup!"
Richie let out a breath when he heard her father disappear down the hallway.
"Well. He seems nice..." Richie said quietly. Sam chuckled.
"Stay here. I'm going to get you some of my brother's clothes. Heads up. They might be a little big." Sam whispered, looking up at him. Placing a kiss on his cheek before disappearing out of the door.
Sam grabbed the smallest clothes she could find in his closet. Luckily not waking him up. She swung back into the room, tossing him the clothes.
"Thanks." He said softly, looking down at the clothes. Sam looked at him, cocking an eyebrow. She sat next to him and put a hand on his back.
"What's wrong?" She asked quietly. Before he could hold it back he blurted it out.
"What are we Samantha?" He said, hope in his eyes, yet also fear.
"We're best friends." Sam said as if it were obvious. Not realizing that it felt like a knife to the gut for Richie.
"Why just best friends." Richie said, his voice low yet still cracking slightly.
"Well Rich. It's up to you on how to figure out how to change that." She smiled. When he looked back up into her eyes, she winked. Placing a peck on his lips before standing up to change. She didn't care to change in front of Richie, he had seen her in her underwear plenty of times, along with the other boys. That quarry visit with Beverly and Ben wasn't the first.
"You realize how much of a tease you are right Samantha?" Richie smirked, feeling his lips slightly.
She just chuckled.
"Come on, whoever it is at the door, they've been waiting ages." She smiled, slipping her "first aid purse" over her shoulder. Just something Eddie made Sam wear in case his fanny pack and back-up fanny pack went missing or got wet or something.
She opened the door a peek, looking for her brothers, mother, or father. luckily none were in sight. The two raced quickly through the hallway and over to the door. Richie taking a little longer than Sam would've liked to admire the house. He envied her life. She had a nice house, whether it was small or not. She had loving parents and siblings. It seemed that nothing went wrong in her home life until her uncle died. Meaning it hit her extra hard. Richie never had that great of a life, so Sam didn't like him coming over. It made her feel like she was bragging or something just by having him there.
Sam swung the door open and shoved Richie out. Both of their eyes widened when they saw everyone but Beverly from the losers club on her porch. (A/N: Obviously not Mike though because they haven't met him yet.)
"Hey. Uh. Guys." Richie said. Stan burst out laughing.
"I knew you guys made out, but I didn't know there was more than that." Stan laughed, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Stanley!" They both hissed.
"Wait you guys kissed!?" Ben nearly shouted.
"I have parents. Inside this house. You know, the one where all of you showed up at. Yeah that one. So can you take it down about 20 notches. Thanks." Sam said quickly and sarcastically.
"Oh my God! Sichie is real!" Ben laughed
"W-We have been waiting for S-S-Sichie for way too long." Bill chuckled.
