~September~

"I can only remember parts... But... I thought I was dead. That's what it felt like... I saw us, all of us together. But we were older, like, our parents ages..." Beverly said slowly, her tone low.

"W-W-What were we all doing there?"

"I just remember how we felt... How scared we were... I- I don't think I could ever forget that."

Bill took a deep breath in before standing up and picking up a random piece of glass. "Swear it." He said simply. "Swear... If it isn't dead... I-If it ever comes back... W-We'll come back too."

After a few moments, Sam stood up, followed by Beverly and Richie. One by one they all stood up, making a silent pre agreement that they would come back. Yet to seal the deal, they still had to swear.

Bill cut into his hand first, wincing slightly at the pain. He began moving down the circle, Sam first. Sam winced slightly more than she would have wanted to, scared she came off weak.

Bill continued down, Sam to Richie, Richie to Eddie, Eddie to Mike and so on.

Once Bill cut into Beverly's hand, they all held hands around the circle. After a few seconds of silence between them, Richie moved his hand, lacing his fingers with Sam's. He honestly didn't care how bloody her hand was, he was just happy to be able to touch her hand at all.

They all let go, Richie more hesitant than anyone.

"I've gotta go..." Stan said, breaking the silence. "I hate you." He said, looking at Bill.

Bill looked at his shoes, clearly hurt. But after a second or two, Stan began to chuckle... Making Bill chuckle too, along with the rest. "I'll... See you later." He smiled, glancing around the circle.

"Bye Stan." Bill said.

One by one they all left, until it was just Bill, Beverly, Sam, and Richie.

"I'd better go." Richie said, standing up slowly.

"Yeah, me too." Beverly said, standing up as well.

As they were walking away, Bill and Sam looked at each other. Sam smiled widely, chuckling. She nodded quickly.

Both of them quickly stood up and jogged to their respected partner.

Bill ran up to Beverly, placing his lips on hers for the first time since third grade.

And you guessed it, Sam ran up to Richie.

She spun Richie around, and she smiled at him, looking at his lips. He smiled back.

"Are you staring at my lips Samantha?" He chuckled.

"Mhmmm." She hummed, smiling wider.

"Well in that case." He said before quickly leaning down and connecting the lips of the two.

She smiled against the kiss before breaking it.

"You know something Tozier?" She paused. "Getting married with 16 kids doesn't sound that bad anymore."
