Bill and Sam dropped their bikes on the pavement before slowly walking up to the Neibolt together.

Bill was chanting his saying that helped his stutter, and seeing as he was stuttering quite a bit, Sam knew he was nervous. She placed her hand in his and laced their fingers. He stopped the chanting for a second to send her a small smile. He was about to continue when they heard Beverly call from behind them, followed by the crashing of bikes on pavement.

"Bill, Sam! You can't go in there! This is crazy!"

"Look you don't have to come in with me." Bill replied sternly, him and Sam turning around, letting their hands fall. "Y'know? What happens when another Georgie goes missing? Or another Betty? Or another Ed Corcoran? Or, one of us!? Are you just going to pretend it isn't happening like everyone else in this town? Because... I can't. I go home and... All I see is that Georgie isn't there. His clothes, his toys, his stupid stuffed animals. But, he isn't." Bill looked down for a moment, taking a deep breath. "So walking into this house... For me... It's easier than walking into my own."

He stared at the group for a moment before turning around and walking to the door.

"Wow." Richie said.

"What?" Sam asked.

"He didn't stutter once..."

The group began to walk up the stairs when a voice stopped them.

"Wait!" Stan called. Everyone turned around and looked at him. "Um... Shouldn't we have, some people keep watch? Y'know, just in case something bad happens?"

Sam pinched the bridge of her nose at how Stan was acting. She was about to flat out tell him no when Bill spoke up.

"W-W-Who wants to stay out here?"

Everyone but Sam and Beverly's hands went up. Sam rolled her eyes.

"I can't believe I pulled the short straw. You guys are lucky you weren't measuring dicks."

"Shutup Tozier." Sam said in a whisper.

"Yeah, shutup Richie." Eddie chimed in. As they walked deeper into the house, Eddie grimaced. "I can smell It."

"Then don't breathe through your mouth." Richie whispered.

"Why?"

"Because then you're eating It..."

Eddie gagged.

Richie split off into another room, as did the others, walking around for signs of anything at all.

After a silence, they heard Richie whisper. "It says I'm missing."

Sam cocked an eyebrow, looking toward Richie. Sam followed as Eddie and Bill walked over to them.

"Y-Y-You're not missing R-Richie."

"Police Department city of Derry! That's my shirt! That's my face! That's my name! That's my age! That's the date!" Richie got louder and louder as he spoke until he was nearly yelling. He crushed the paper in his fist as her fought against Bill (who was trying to calm him down). "NO IT SAYS IT! IT SAYS IT! AM I MISSING? AM I GONNA GO MISSING?" Richie said, now yelling.

Sam stepped forward and grabbed his wrists from Bill. He calmed slightly just at her touch, but still struggled.

"That isn't real." She said sternly, looking him in the eyes. Richie stopped struggling. Sam moved her hands from his wrists and put both her hands in his. "It's playing tricks on you."

Richie's eyes flicked down to Sam's lips as he breathed heavily. He started to lean in, but just as he did, a noise was heard from the floor above. Sam's head shot toward the source of the noise, along with everyone else's.

Bill started walking toward the noise, so the three of them followed.

"Hello?" A distant, hurt, and echoed voice said from the direction of the upper floor. Sam's breath hitched as she frantically reached for Richie. She grabbed onto his shirt as the four of them slowly creeped up the stairs. "Help me, please!" The voice whined, clearly in distress. Sam wanted nothing more than to run up those stairs and help whoever was calling, yet knew that that wasn't a good idea.

They walked the rest of the way up the steps, turning into a hallway. Immediately seeing a room at the end with a girl on the floor gasping for her breath.

"Betty?" Sam whispered, tears stinging her eyes as she imagined what she must have been through.

"Ripsom?" Richie said slightly louder than Sam did.

Betty looked at them, still gasping for air. Then she was jerked away from view suddenly. Sam nearly jumped out of her own skin as it happened, grabbing Richie tighter and pushing her face into his chest. He wrapped his arms around her shortly before they continued to walk.

They had almost reached the door when Sam looked behind them, Eddie wasn't there. Sam broke her grip on Richie's sleeve, the two didn't notice as she began to walk back the direction they came.

"Ed? Eddie where are you?" She whispered.

"Sam, in here." She heard Eddie's voice say. She turned into a room, she saw Eddie standing there facing the wall. She walked over to him.

"Come on Eddie the others got ahe-" She was cut off when she placed a hand on Eddie's shoulder and he melted into a puddle of water. A gasp escaped her lips as she watched her friends form disappear.

The puddle began to grow.

It was as if water was being added to the former puddle rapidly.

Sam backed up frantically as the puddle kept expanding. She whipped her head around when the door slammed shut behind her. It was only when she felt something soak her shoes that she realized the water wasn't stopping. She heard another door slam in the distance, followed by banging on the door and calls for herself and Eddie.

Sam ran over to the door and began pounding onto it as well, screaming the names of the other three. The water now up to her upper-shins.

"Sammy baby, come give me a hug." She heard a gurgled voice say from beside her. Sam turned around slowly to see her uncle, bloated as usual. He opened his mouth, water spilling from it like his mouth was a faucet. This adding to the already rapidly raising water.

The water was now up to her waist, as her uncle began to shift closer to her she let out a shriek and began to move around the room, moving as fast as she could through the rising water levels. Sam shivered as the piercing cold from the water chilled her bones.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" She screamed at her dead uncle that was still chasing her around the oddly large room. He stopped moving.

He ducked under water before coming back up again.

But it wasn't him. It was Richie.

"Richie?" Sam whispered, before coming to her senses. This had happened before.

"Sam why is there water everywhere!? We have to get out of here!" He said worriedly.

"STAY AWAY FROM ME!"

Richie gave her a confused yet frantic look. "Sam! We're going to drown! Come on! Eddie and Bill need us!"

"I SAID STAY AWAY FROM ME!" She closed her eyes as she bobbed lightly in the water that was now up to her chest.

She opened them to see Richie, pale as he was the first time this happened. He spit blood into the water, quickly turning the water around him a different color.

"Hope you know how to float." Richie choked out before falling into the water.

Then, like lighting, the water rose several feet. Sam gasped, water filling her mouth as she swallowed some. She was silently thanking every deity that she didn't inhale the water. The water didn't taste like normal water. It was vile, and as soon as Sam reached the surface, she vomited.

The water rose more and more to the point where the top of her head was touching the ceiling. The ceilings weren't that high, causing a severe inconvenience for Sam.

She took in a deep breath as the water fully engulfed the room. Sam knew this was the end, she knew this was how she died.

Darkness.
