The following morning Stevie woke up with a horrible headache. She had no idea what time it was, but she didn't care to check it either. She stretched and groaned, seemingly only then feeling someone's arm draped around her waist. Looking over her shoulder brought back a lot of the previous night.

"Who knew you were so fun to party with." Mick yawned, tightening his hold around her.

"Thanks." Stevie laughed a humorless laugh, freeing herself from Mick's embrace. She sat up, the thin sheet falling down her chest, waking Mick up fully.

"Well, hello there." He smirked, propping himself up on his elbow, his other arm reaching up to touch Stevie's face, as he then pulled her in for a kiss. She didn't protest, responding to his kiss until she felt him trying to lay her down again.

"Nuh-uh." Stevie shook her head. "I desperately need to go to the bathroom."

"Tease." Mick lay down on his back again, letting Stevie go.

To say things got a little out of hand the night before would be an understatement. It started out as it always did, a few drinks with friends, then a little bit of coke and a couple more drink, before it was time to snort another line or two. It got to the point where it was only Mick and Stevie left at some stranger's house. She didn't want to go back her, uh, boyfriend, and Mick was more than happy to invite her over to his place. Another half of bottle of brandy and several lines of cocaine later, they kissed. Clothes were shed quickly as the two of them stumbled to the bed.

"I think I might have met my match." Mick said, when Stevie returned. She didn't get back into bed, standing next to it, naked as the days she was born. She had nothing to hide, actually, all the praise and attention from men she'd been getting recently boosted her confidence immensely.

"I was never like this." Stevie shook her head, searching for a piece of clothing on the floor. She located Mick's shirt and put it on, needless to say it was way too big for her. "Joining this band has changed me." She wasn't sure what made her open up, but she got in beside Mick, laying her head on his chest, while his fingers combed through her hair. "I came from a good family. I listened to my parents while growing up, I did everything their way. When I met Lindsey, he was my whole world. I never looked at another man, I only went somewhere with him. I was never much of a drinker, I only ever smoked a bit of pot. Now?" She sighed, disappointed in herself. "I cheated on Lindsey with Rick, I cheated on Rick with you. I'm drinking wine for breakfast and brandy for lunch and dinner. I'm on freaking coke!"

"Well, it's the way it is. You're in a rock and roll band, sweetheart." Mick replied simply. "It's a completely different lifestyle to what you're used to. Isn't this life a lot more exciting though?"

"What, screwing man and doing drugs?" Stevie scoffed and Mick chuckled.

"Occasionally doing gigs too." He added jokingly. "I'm glad you joined us."

"I bet." She looked up at him, an innocent smile on his face. "I thought we weren't serious, you know."

"What do you mean?"

"You flirt with me a lot. I kind of took it as a joke. I mean, you're married and everything..." Stevie trailed off, feeling only slightly guilty thinking of Mick's wife and their kids.

"Don't worry about that. Our marriage has been on the rocks way before you joined Fleetwood Mac." Mick waved it off, which Stevie found to be strange. Then again, wasn't she just like him? "What I can tell you is that you should enjoy life, enjoy every day. You never know when it's going to be all over."

Mick certainly seemed to live with that attitude, it was going pretty well for him, so Stevie pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind and straddled his middle, his hands instantly falling on her hips...

"Oh shit, it's after 3 pm." Mick decided it would be good to check the time at some point. "We're a bit late, aren't we?" He chuckled, clearly the joint they had just smoked kicking in.

"It's your band, isn't it?" Stevie asked rhetorically, lying with her eyes closed.

"I should probably call-" Mick was cut off mid sentence by the ringing of the phone. "That's weird." He sat up, taking some time to stand up to answer the phone.

It was Christine, calling from the studio and she sounded pissed off. Mick apologized several times and told her, he and Stevie would show up soon. Christine let that slide, while Mick didn't even realize what he said and Stevie didn't seem to have heard it either.

"Get that sexy ass of yours in gear, we've got to go." Mick told Stevie returning to the bedroom and she groaned.

The last thing she wanted to do was get up and get ready to face Rick. She had to stop lying to herself, their relationship was over before it even began.
