Stevie smiled weakly at the feeling of feather-like kisses pressed against the back of her neck and shoulders. With her eyes still closed, she searched for Lindsey's hand and laced her fingers through his, resting their joined hands on her middle.
"Good morning."
"Morning." Stevie replied and yawned. "How long have you been up for?"
She felt Lindsey shrug behind her. "I don't know, long enough to have kissed you a hundred times at least."
Stevie chuckled lightly and turned in his arms as they now lay face to face. A content smile remained on her face as Stevie brought a hand up, running her fingers through Lindsey's messy hair, causing him to close his eyes and let out an appreciative sound.
"I love you."
"I love you, too." He echoed, scooting a little bit closer, his forehead touching hers.
"The past six or so months have been the best of my life." Stevie admitted. "We're two completely different people."
"Well if we hadn't made any changes, we wouldn't be together right now. I'm absolutely sure about that." Lindsey said, his fingertips running up and down her naked back. "Are you happy? Truly?"
"I've never been happier." Stevie kissed his lips gently, her delicate hand on his chest, pushing him onto his back.
The Fleetwood Mac album was finished. There was no rush. They had no place to be. It was their time at last.
Pushing the covers off him, she got on top of him, his hands on her hips. She smiled down at him, leaning in for a kiss. His fingers tangled in her hair and she moaned, her palms cupping his face. Breaking their lips apart, she sat up straight, just staring at him for a moment.
"Your face is perfect."
Lindsey laughed at that, his fingers dancing across her stomach. "You're perfect." He said, sitting up, his arm going around her waist as he flipped them over swiftly and she found herself under him.
He kissed her lips first as his then traveled down her neck and he kept moving lower, right down the middle of her body. She giggled, his beard was tickling her inner thighs.
"I thought I was with a woman." Lindsey lifted an eyebrow at her, his head in between her legs.
"You are, baby, you are. I just..." She let out a similar sound again, shrugging her shoulders. "Keep going."
"Nuh-uh. I think we'll leave that for another time." He said, now hovering above her, his hands supporting the weight of his upper body. "I think you need more than that." He brought a hand in between them, two of his fingers spreading her lower lips as he moaned at how aroused she was. Slowly, with just the right amount of pleasure to tease her, the pad of his middle finger circling her clit.
"I hate you." Despite saying that, a moan escaped her as she arched her back, then lifted her hips up, silently begging him.
"You don't." He smugly grinned at her, lowering his lips to her neck again.
Knowing that she was more than ready, he entered her slowly and stilled. When she opened her eyes, locking them with his, he pulled out almost all the way, before thrusting his hips forward with force, causing her to cry out first, but she then bit her lip and he did it again, building up a rhythm. He couldn't take his eyes off her. She was always beautiful to him, but at moments like this, when it was just the two of them, when she trusted him enough to expose herself completely, when she was this vulnerable, when they were this intimate with each other - she was the most beautiful to him.
A sudden wave of emotions hit him and he hid his face in the curve of her neck, her arms wrapped around him instantly. They knew each other better than anyone and she knew he obviously needed a mental release as much as a physical one.
"I love you." She whispered into his ear, leaving a kiss there. "I love you so much." She repeated, feeling his lips on her skin and she smiled.
He rolled them over again and she gasped, feeling every inch of him deep inside her. Leaning forward a little, she placed her hands on his chest as she began moving on top of him. At a low pace at first, she rose and fell, before speeding up, bringing them both closer.
"Touch me." It came as a demand and he wasn't going to deny her, his thumb pressed against right above where they were joined. She moaned loudly, the increased pleasure helped her find that last bit of strength as her hips rocked until she saw his eyes close, his lips part and felt his hands grip her sides. "Don't stop." She said and he flicked his fingers against her swiftly, making her come as well.
"We're pretty good at that." Lindsey said, breathing heavily as Stevie lay down next to him, her breathing matching his.
"I'd say we're a lot better than just pretty good." She turned on her side, draping her leg over his, her head resting on his chest. "I'm so happy we've found our way back to each other."
Smiling lazily, he wrapped one arm around her, kissing her damp hair. "Deep in my heart, I've always known we would. It's our time now, baby. Whether making an album with Fleetwood Mac has helped us or not, I don't care. We're meant to be Buckingham Nicks, forever."
"Don't be so set on that, we might become The Buckinghams eventually."
"Are you proposing to me?" Lindsey laughed looking down at her.
Stevie shook her head, tilting her chin up. "No, I'm waiting you to ask me the question."
Lindsey turned serious as soon as he heard those words. He was either going to be a very happy man in just a moment or he was going to ruin it all.
"Marry me."
"I'm just joking around." Stevie tried to laugh it off, but Lindsey shook his head.
"I'm not. Marry me, Stevie." He added. "I'm serious. I love you and you know I've always dreamed about you becoming my wife."
She opened her mouth to reply, but nothing came out. She was thinking of all the reasons why this wasn't the right time and why she should say no, but... Nothing came to mind.
"I'll marry you." She said at least, a huge smile spreading across her face. "I'll marry you, Lindsey Buckingham."
There was truly nothing he could say as he brought her in for a passionate kiss and once again settled in between her thighs.
"This calls for a celebration!" He sounded very excited, which made her laugh.
"I love you, you big dork." She smiled sweetly at him, lifting her head off the pillow, meeting him halfway for a kiss.
