Chapter 16

Halo landed on the surface of Earth, leaving a crater. She started to sprint to her childhood home when she got knocked out. When she woke, she was in a stall, chained up so she couldn't move. A woman with white bird wings walked into Halo's prison. "Did you miss me or are you ready to face your fate and give me your power?" The woman said lifting Halo's head up.

"Hello, Harriot. I see you accepted the request." Halo said as she moved her head away from Harriot.

"I see you have a broken heart, did Harlock leave your demon ass?" Harriot said as she picked Halo's face up again. Halo stayed silent. "Did you really think he could love a demon like you, besides you were never loved by anyone other than those goddamn animals!" Harriot said as she took her nails and slashed Halo's neck. "With that broken heart, you will fall quick."

"We are supposed to kill each other in open battle." Halo snickered.

"We will, later. Torture her until I'm ready." Harriot said, walking out of the stall and two Gaia soldiers walked in.

"You cheating little brat!" Halo shouted as the soldiers started to torture her.

"Halo, stay with me please," Harlock said thru their mental link.

"Harlock? I thought you hated me after you learned the truth?" Halo said back to him.

"Why would I? You are my Demon Angel. Go kick your sister's ass!" He said and Halo got more power than she ever did before.

"Kelly, you gave your power to me? How?" Halo said thru the mental link between her and Kelly.

"I no longer have a physical form that can use the power," Kelly said back to her.

"Halo, you saw a hundred years thru my eyes and I saw how much of a spoiled little brat Harriot is, so kick her ass to the devil himself," Harlock told Halo.

"I will," Halo said to him as a blast of energy came from her and destroyed the Gaia ships defending the Earth and every foot soldier around her. She grabbed her weapons and went and found Harriot. "HARRIOT, I'm gonna kick your ass to the Netherrealm!" Halo said charging Harriot with Her swords. Harriot blocked Halo's attack with a magic shield.

"Don't you mean Heaven. I'm an angel after all," Harriot said as she threw Halo back.

"Nope, you are a demon in disguise, I wouldn't be surprised if The devil didn't want your soul! Halo said as her body became a dragon.

"You can morph?! But how?!" Harriot stood there stunned at the sight.

"Kelly gave me her power and I also have dark matter, so you are screwed," Halo said as she lunged at Harriot.

"Fine, then I won't play fair," Harriot murmured and used her magic to hold Halo where she stood, "now, let's make you have a permanent mark to remember him by," Harriot took a sword and carved a gash across Halo's face and made it look like Harlock's scar. Harriot let her guard down and Halo locked her jaw around Harriot's abdomen. "Halo?" a voice that sounded familiar said behind her, "Halo, look at me." Halo laid her sister on the ground and turned around.

"Harlock?" Halo said as he walked towards her, but she backed away, "I don't want to hurt you!"

"You wouldn't, I know you," Harlock said pressing his forehead to Halo's, "I love you, and nothing's gonna change that, ever," Harlock said calming Halo.

"I love you t-" Halo was cut off by Harriot stabbing her shoulder.

"That's why your middle name is Lust, one of the Seven Deadly Sins because guys just come for you!" Harriot shouted as she thru Halo's dragon body and used her magic to hold up Harlock.

"Let him go!" Halo said getting up and sprinting to Harriot.

"And why should I-" Harriot said as she was pushed to the ground by Halo and she dropped Harlock. Halo locked her jaw around Harriot's neck, her head in Halo's mouth. "Because he's mine!" Halo said the best she could with Harriot in her mouth. Halo used all her strength to rip Harriot's head and spine from her body. Halo changed back to her human form and fell to her hands and knees. "Halo," Harlock said walking towards her.

"It's over, it's finally over," Halo said touching where Harriot stabbed her to reveal no blood.

"Halo, look up, please?" Harlock said softly as he picked up her face.

"The wound on my face will scar because she used a holy dagger to do it," Halo said rocking back to sit on her legs.

"I don't care about the scar," Harlock said tracing the wound with his thumb, "all I care about is my angel disguised as a demon. Come on, let's go back to the Arcadia," he said picking her up.

"Can I torturer Logan and Kai, not literally," Halo said holding her left side.

"What, like a prank?" Harlock said with a mischievous look on his face, "I'm in."
