Harlock and The Elysium

Chapter 14

Harlock went back to the Arcadia and left Halo to sleep. He thought Titan would wake her up, but maybe he would leave her to sleep. Then Logan walked up to Harlock. "What is it, Logan?" Harlock said sitting upright in his throne.

"Capitan, could I go to the Elysium to speak with Mirra and Halo?" Logan asked.

"Yes, you can Logan, just stay away from Halo and take Kai with you," Harlock said with a blank look on his face.

"Why do I have to take Kai with and why can't I see Halo?" Logan said in a confused manner.

"Kai needed to talk to Halo and Kelly about her armor and Halo is asleep and needs the rest," Harlock said standing up and walking away.

"Okay then," Logan said walking over to Kai and preparing to go to the Elysium.

Kai went to talk with Kelly and Logan went to find Halo. Logan found her room and crept in. Halo was still asleep and he kneeled next to her. He touched her wings and they flinched, Halo woke up but stayed how she was. Logan then touched her dragon tattoo and she grabbed his neck. "What are you doing here?" she said as he struggled to get her to release him.

"I... was... just... checking... up... on... you... for... Harlock..." Logan said between each of his struggled breaths.

"Lier! He would come here himself!" Halo said taking her free hand and knocking him out, "Titan, let's send him back to the Arcadia," Titan appeared in the room and helped her use her magic to send him back to the Arcadia. "Harlock, Logan just appeared in his room out of nowhere!" Mimay said as Harlock walked onto the bridge,

"He must have ticked Halo off, I'm going over there right now!" Harlock said sprinting away.

Halo went to her training area with Titan and started to sprint in the arena bareback. Kai walked in and locked the door behind her. "Hey Kai! What's up?" Halo said dismounting Titan and telling him to do some more laps around the arena.

"I wanted to talk to you about something," Kai said as she took Halo's legs out from underneath her.

"What the Hell?!" Halo said as Kai drew her pistols and pointed them at Halo's head and chest.

"What this is about is Harlock, you stole him and Logan from me and now you will pay for your mistake!" Kai said taking the bayonet on one of them and stabbing Halo in the chest.

"You bitch! First of all, you can't kill a demon and secondly, Harlock couldn't let me go!" Halo said as tears ran down her face.

"And how do you know that?" Kai said digging the blade deeper into her chest.

"Because while I was in cryo, I saw everything thru his eyes, saw every dream, heard every thought all because of the mental link between us!" Halo said crying as Kai dug the blade into Halo's chest until the barrel of the pistol was in her chest. Harlock ran to Halo's room to find nothing. "Kelly, where is Halo?!" Harlock shouted running around the Elysium.

"She is in her training area with Kai," Kelly said as he began to run in the direction of Halo. Harlock got to the door of the training area and heard Halo screaming in pain. "Kelly, unlock the damn door!" Harlock said as he heard two shots fired and Kelly unlocked the door. As soon as the door opened, Halo was laying on Titan's side with two gunshot wounds in her chest and Kai's guns smoking and dripping blood. "HALO!" Harlock shouted trying to run to Halo but is stopped by Kai.

"Don't go near her, she's a demon," Kai said as Halo woke up.

"I told you, you can't kill me," Halo said as her wounds healed.

"Halo, is it true, are you a demon?" Harlock said tears sitting in his eyes.

"Yes it is, but I was going to tell you as soon as I was ready and knew you could handle the truth," Halo said while she walked up to him with tears rolling down her face. She went to touch his face but he turned away. "Kelly take care of the Elysium and him please," Halo said as she walked towards the door, Titan stood between her and the door. "I'm sorry buddy, but I have to leave," Halo said as she turned ethereal and walked right thru Titan.
