Harlock and The Elysium

Chapter 6

 As soon as Harlock reached the bridge, Halo wings were a cape. When they reached the controls, Nexis and Helix took Halo and put her in the dark matter restraints. She was hanging there lifelessly while dark matter poured into her body. "What is wrong with Halo, Kelly?!" Harlock demanded.

"When she gave you the three items, the dark matter used was hers and she still didn't fully recover from giving you and the Arcadia dark matter," Kelly said as Nexis rested his head on Halo shoulder and Helix laid at Harlock's feet whimpering.

"Then why did she give them to me?"

"Because she wanted to show you what happens when she has a dark matter withdrawal so you knew what happens to her."

"How many times has this happened to her?" Harlock said while kneeling down to calm Helix. Kelly said nothing. "Kelly, how many times has this happened to Halo?!"

"This has happened twice since she woke up," Kelly said looking up at Halo hanging there lifelessly. Then Nexis and Helix started to become more alert and Halo started to look normal again. "She has to rest for a little while so the dark matter can set to her. You can stay with her as long as you would like Harlock, just be careful in this state she is like glass and here is something for the Arcadia. Hold out your hand." Harlock did as he was told and held out his hand and a device dropped into his hand.

"Kelly, what is this?" Harlock said looking at the device.

"It's an add-on for the Arcadia so it can do what this thing can do. Anyways can you take her back to her room please?"

"I'll take her back to her room Kelly," Harlock said as Nexis and Helix grabbed Halo from her restraints.

Halo laid on her bed for an hour before she started to wake up, Harlock was by her side the whole time. "Harlock, what are you doing here?" Halo said as she started waking up.

"Halo, Don't move," Harlock said as she started to sit upright.

"What's wrong? Did I have to get shot by my gun again?!" Halo said as Helix and Nexis came to her side. "Hehe, hey you two!"

"Halo, what do you mean by you were shot by your gun again?" Harlock said looking at Halo's smiling face.

"The 2nd time that happened, Kelly ordered Mirra to grab my sniper rifle that shot bullets of dark matter because she thought I wouldn't make it. When they shot me, the bullet was absorbed by my skin but there is a permanent mark from where the bullet hit." Halo said as Nexis brought her her swords and pistols.

"I see," Harlock said as she tried to stand up. "Halo, don't get up. Kelly said you weren't supposed to."

"Harlock, I'm fine, she just thinks that I need to rest," Halo said as she drew the two swords from her back.

"Halo, what are you doing?" Harlock said grabbing her wrist.

"I'm going to my training area, if you want to, you can come there is an invisible bubble shield around us and the Arcadia, they won't find us. Helix go get my armor, my rifle, and Thunder and Lightning, please boy." Halo said and the wolf barked in reply.

"I'll come with," Harlock said.
